"Extasis" is the kind of deep, rolling house music we've heard her play during her extended sets at Miami's 1-800-Lucky. A delicate, hypnotic melody leads the way. At the same time, congas and a throbbing bass deliver the rhythm before Roco's wicked Spanish vocal, making this our favourite Latin-infused deep house jam since Sam Dexter and Gianmarco Limenta's "La Vida". Superb.

We issue our 1000th release in the same style we started back in 1997, with an original slice of Deep House from Kevin McKay. Joining him is Brian Smith, an upcoming British DJ and producer and a resident at Paschahouse, a popular house party in southeast England. He first appeared on our radar with "Chase The Sun", his killer collaboration with Dutch producers CAMALUK, a mainstay on our Club Heat playlist. "Where Is Your Heart?" mixes melancholic vocals with deep, rolling beats and bass and a superb synth line that sticks in your head like glitter (the planet-friendly stuff, of course)! If you're a fan of recent cuts on 8 Bit or Cecille, this is for you.

Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner" has been an evergreen source of sample fun for dance producers. From the original slo-mo rework by DNA in 1989 through Robbie Doherty's "Pour The Milk" to Kevin McKay's definitive #1 Deep House rework in 2023 (5 months at the top of the charts), the right version of this song will always move dancefloors. Amal enlists Darcey's vocal talents for her version and delivers a wicked rolling groove complete with trademark percussion and a low pumper of a bassline. This sweet banger will be a go-to slice of tech for us for some time to come.

Much like the Scotland fans who headed to Naples recently to enjoy (fellow Scots) McTominay and Gilmour playing for Napoli (no doubt alongside the beer and pizza), we have raided Maradona's favourite Italian city for our next release. Albert Breaker is one of the most promising young producers we have met recently. You might not know his name, but given the multi-million streaming ghost-writing he's been doing (oh, and how we wish we could tell!), you will know his music. "Heaven" started as a sketch Breaker played Kevin McKay at ADE. Since then, they have been bouncing ideas back and forth alongside vocals from fellow Neapolitan Gio Quaranta. A killer piano lick leads the topline while wicked beats and bass deliver the groove. Sitting on top is Gio's majestic tribute to falling in love. Proper!

He has headlined across Europe and supports the likes of Leftwing : Kody, Belters Only, Disclosure and Shift K3Y. Active on the Club scene in the UK, AJ also has summer sets in Ibiza. 2024 has already been a great year so far with 6 releases on labels including Nervous and Her Diamond Dozen hitting the Beatport charts with 2X top 10’s and 4x top 20’s.
