Landhouse is the electronic downtempo project by Benjamin Landhäuser from Karlsruhe, Germany. Coming from a family of artists who always supported his creative work, he could establish his very own and unique sound over the last six years. His music has been loved by the downtempo community since it all begun and his tracks have been released on labels like Amselcom, Tonal. and Seaside Trip. His former project was a duo with his friend Raddantze and you might remember their hit Ep Robots in lilac space ships. Nowadays he often collaborates with Sima Aava as she has developed a vocal style that perfectly fits his music. Landhouse has been playing his music all over europe in places where slow sounds are appreciated. The likable person behind this artist embodies the empathy and community spirit that we all love in the downtempo universe.

In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The number 6 in this year and number 136 since the beginning in 2011, is from a young sailor, who has grown dear to my heart as a friend - AND - I think he is a talented producer and an upcoming artist: https://soundcloud.com/ouhana .

Our common history is still quite young and fresh and began on the roof of a rather tall skyscraper. I'm still very grateful for the weekend, the two-day birthday party and the encounters - because, among other things, I got to know this young sailor. He played his set right befor me and unfortunately I wasn't really able to perceive his set until the end. But, above all, I remember him with his open and very loving manner. Yes, well, it should take a while, he sailed out to sea, I stayed on land - only none of the other knew that and so it needed the Mannheim collective https://soundcloud.com/slowbar and Wiesogeradeschräg again to bring us on a Festival together. The hair was blowing in the wind, we laughed, had a casual time and played music together - this is how it feels when sailors are free and can do what they want: making music. Music, we process feelings and thoughts and can communicate through them - share them with you and dance to them. Sometimes a sailor has to go out to sea alone before he knows exactly where the journey should go - Richard aka Ouhana his journey to the sea should reflect exactly that and I think he has found the right tracks to capture this mood and make it audible. Stephan and Stephan, Stephan squared. Hailing from Rostock in Germany, the pair of DJs Stelzenläufer & lockige Ostsee have been dedicating their souls to the project Faultierdisko for the last four years, coupled with the several parties promoted in thei home town; their local radio boadcast once a month, their (incredible) curatorship through Faultierdisko channel here on Soundcloud.

Contrasting moods – the calmer versus the uplifting, blending the unexpectable – through almost 134 minutes, the duo selected a truly deep versatile mix. The first part came from Stelzenläufer and the second part was done by lockige Ostsee. Undoubtedly a true celebration of slow electronic music!
