Dear Friends, we are thrilled to present a most special edition... Marlon Looney and his masterpiece! 
One day, by the time we released Endless, we got this message from Marlon, it was morning and he was at the beach with some friends hearing that track, after one of those long nights... That was the first time we received such a kind message, and that was so meaningful to us! It was the time we realised that the dream was happening and, for our lives, people would be touched by our arts and getting connected with us in special ways. 

Beyond that, Marlon is an amazingly gifted DJ, a very favourite of ours, so regarding the set, all we can say is... WOW! This is a true masterpiece, one of those "old downtempo sets", organic, full, eclectic, and the mixing and flow are just breathtaking. It is difficult describe what we find to be one of the most surprising sets we've heard this year!

Sit back and enjoy this epic tale, one that only an artistic and downtempo soul would produce :)

Auch im neuen Jahr rollt das Dreirad weiter! Und wie ihr wisst, geben wir auch weiterhin das Lenkrad gerne an uns liebe Menschen ab um auf eine Reise durch ihre Soundkollektionen mitzukommen.
Heute dabei am Steuer: @aka_tony!
Mit seinem Output hat er uns schon häufig erfreut hier auf Soundcloud - man kommt ja um seinen Namen kaum herum wenn es um das Thema Podcasts geht! Und das ist auch gut so, denn er bringt dadurch nicht nur gute Musik an viele verschiedene Menschen, sondern besticht auch jederzeit mit einer super Auswahl und sehr schönem groove - einfach Musik die Spaß macht! Durch seine Formate wie @aka-tapes oder ‚I am BOHO‘ bei @planetibiza bietet er vielen Artists eine Bühne, vom Newcomer bis hin zum etablierten Namen. So hat er auch uns zu den ersten Podcast-Möglichkeiten verholfen und wir freuen uns, dass seitdem Kontakt zwischen ihm und dem Dreirad besteht! Daher war es umso schöner, vergangenen Oktober zu dritt nach Zürich zu fahren, ihn persönlich kennen zu lernen und mit ihm zusammen ein Wochenende im Nachtleben der Stadt musikalisch zu füllen - eine spaßige und vorallem schöne Erfahrung für uns drei!
Da gibt es eigentlich nur zu sagen - Danke lieber Thomas! Nicht nur für die wunderbare Rundfahrt, die du uns für die Januar Episode beigesteuert hast, sondern auch für all das Organisatorische was du in diesem Bereich leistest!  Wir freuen uns schon auf unser nächstes Wiedersehen :)

Für mein treuestes Groupie, wichtigste Kritikerin, motivierteste Tänzerin und beste Unterstützerin - meine einfach wundervollste Schwester!

Ohne sie gäbe es kueksen vielleicht gar nicht. Als ich 17 und partytechnisch jungfräulich war (abgesehen von EDM in schlechten, oberbayerischen Dorfdiskos), packte sie mich kurzerhand ein und lud mich mitten auf der Fusion wieder aus. Was soll ich sagen? Schon der Soundcheck der Triebwerke versetzte mich in Entzücken! Tiefe Bässe aus dicken Anlagen, verspielte Melodien aus allen Himmelsrichtungen und diese magische Stimmung – so ist damals das kueksen geschlüpft.

Für diese Initialzündung und ihre treue Begleitung meines Weges seitdem, möchte ich mich nun einmal gründlichst bedanken! Daher diese Podcastreihe. #sistertapes halt....

Heute mal die wohl langsamste Seite der gedrosselten Musik, um die bösen Geister des zu hohen Momentums unserer Zeit loszuwerden. Ne ordentliche Packung BADASS gibts natürlich trotzdem, nur halt eben alles in etwas gemütlicherer Manie.

For my most loyal groupie, most important critic, most motivated dancer and best supporter - my simply most wonderful sister!

Without her, kueksen might not even exist. When I was 17 and a party virgin (apart from EDM in bad, Upper Bavarian village discos), she unceremoniously packed me in and dropped me off again in the middle of Fusion. What can I say? Already the sound check of the soundsystems put me in delight! Deep basses from thick equipment, playful melodies from all directions and this magical atmosphere - that's how kueksen hatched back then.

For this initial spark and their faithful support of my way since then, I would like to thank now once thoroughly! Hence this podcast series. #sistertapes ....

Today i present the probably slowest side of the pitched music, to get rid of the evil spirits of the increasingly high momentum of our time. A good pack of BADASS is of course still there, just everything in a more comfortable manner.
