This week's Source to Cycle comes from André Hommen.  Original from Nettetal in Germany, André was inspired by the radio shows broadcasting over the local airwaves, opening up his ears to the house music sound, and influencing his move behind the turntables to hone his craft.

André is widely known as one of the crew at Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity label,  helping the develop the careers of Ferrer, Argy, Martinez Brothers, and finding the time to also develop his own production style and DJ career.  Releases on Objektivity and Plastic City have wetted his appetite to further his production career, so we look forward to some future music from him.

Legend has it that on a hot summers day, Noema went down the rabbit hole to the myth-enshrouded Sisyphos in Berlin, were he met like-minded spirits who were down for going all the way up. In a blink of an eye, Noema lifted them on his starlight back, spreaded his wings and took off with them to an adventure of unfathomable heights and blissful moments, hoovering on a wave of rainbow colors into a neverending sunset.
This is the story of Noema and all the Dancers of that day at Sisyphos Berlin. Thank you for dancing.

Hidden deep, on the Other Side of the Lago Lago festival there was only one thing to do that Saturday afternoon.. Dance! Our theme: 'if it doesn't have a drum in it, it's not music!' He has openend concerts for the likes of Oddisee, Freddie Gibbs, Asher Roth, Apollo Brown and Flo Filz, played club gigs with DJs like Teresa, Josi Miller and Mark Hype. His debut EP ‘Window Seat‘ released 2021, followed by single features with international beat producers.

Mannheim has been my home town for almost 10 years, and while it's not always the most beautiful of places I like its vibe and people a lot. For the mix I compiled a selection of jazzy instrumental tracks, with some classics that have been in my playlists for a long time, and also newer tracks with fellow producers I had the chance to work with while living here.
