This release feels more like a statement a manifesto wrapped in four tightly composed tracks. It takes techno back to its purest form: rhythm as ritual, sound as transcendence. We were on a search for the Future Groove and we ended up in Paris with Diazepin. Some artists have this vision for the future of the sound and we could not dream of anything better for this Dubplate EP: Alien textures, traveling cinematic effects and simply a sound from another planet.
On the B side, BXTR and TineX deliver reinterpretations that bring a different swing to the groove, modern for the first one, and Hardgroove for the later. Enjoy.
