Last weekend I played for the first time in Friedas Büxe in Zurich. Although the main act - Frida Darko - was absent due to illness, the club was packed. Many thanks to Aramiss and Planet Caravan who played with me. Special thanks to the many dancers and music lovers and the Büxe crew.  Looking forward to coming back at any time. It was a perfect and very emotional experience.

Last night I had a piece of foreign matter in my foot that prevented me from sleeping. That was the reason why I sat down in the studio and played some music while I waited for the emergency doctors to open. Luckily I pressed the record button. Would have been a shame if I hadn't. And yeah, the foot is better again.

So, I've been really into music lately and I set a goal for myself to play at this festival in Zurich named Lethargy. It's always a blast and I get to see a lot of my friends there. Yesterday was kind of nerve-wracking because it felt like a do-or-die moment, but my set ended up going well. The only hiccup was when I accidentally dropped my phone in the lake, but luckily the new models are waterproof. All's well that ends well, right? 

Shoutout to Lethargy and all the fantastic dancers. I can't wait to do it again! 

Many thanks to my friend Eve Lyn for starting the show on this sunny afternoon in Zurich. I couldn't have imagined a cooler DJ to play in front of me.

Somewhere between the kick and the delay — at 00:40 hours, 108 BPM — my DJ-MacBook just froze  (I still play on those devices and I most likely always will - although... I am short before investing in some other gear to play a little bit, to be seen). 

Seven seconds of silence. Total blackout.
The crowd didn’t flinch. 
Someone laughed and shouted, “Ma che Tony!”

Next day I opened the session, found the gap, stitched the groove, dusted it clean.

Now it sounds right — tunes I truly feel.

The beauty of a simple editor cut.
