Sirens Podcast 008: Reza Safinia

Reza Safinia is a multi-instrumentalist composer and producer raised in London and living in Los Angeles. Prior to working in film he was a songwriter and record producer/engineer with work spanning from pop to underground. He has toured with Destiny’s Child and worked with artists as diverse as Dr. Dre, Britney Spears and underground UK rapper Akala.

Over the last two years Reza’s music has spanned composition for HBO Max’s “Warrior” to his own two albums Yin and Yang which culminated in live performances at Burning Man on Robot Heart at the Renegade Burn in 2021 and Mayan Warrior in 2022. Reza's DJ sets focus on the overlapping space connecting Melodic House and Techno with Indie Dance, weaving threads through tracks from different categories into a journey for the mind, body and soul.

2023 will see Reza composing the third season of “Warrior”, recording a new album, touring both live and DJ, combining the electronic elements with the piano performance. Recent and upcoming releases include collaborations with Sasha Carassi, Madmotormiquel and The Organism.

A crystal like cluster of Lighthouses ranging from 6 to 60 foot tall and some leaning as much as 20 degrees. Inspired by the juxtaposition of creating a destination of fun and shelter by something that is meant to warn you of danger. This adult jungle gym aims to become a destination where participants come to seek shelter, play, meetup with friends and navigate the inland sea that is the Playa. At night the Lighthouses will truly come alive with fire, light, and a few other surprises.
