Rising above w/ Scionaugh & Kozy was quite honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had behind the decks as-well as on the dance floor. I wish I had the words to describe the immense amount of gratitude I have towards the crew behind the @visionem.collective team as well as the head honcho Kozy and the sonic sorcerer that is Scionaugh. The very least I could say is thanks a million @dragota for pulling this together along with the rest of your awesome crew🤗❤️ The past two weeks have been so special getting to spend some quality time with @scionaugh & @kozy_alpaka - two of the most friendliest and humble blokes out there. The next release from Katayy Records presents a carefully curated compilation, selected by Matias Cox, also known as DeepNotic. This collection features 17 tracks, offering a deep exploration into the diverse world of techno. From its underground roots to the global stage, the compilation showcases a range of talents that define the genre. With hypnotic rhythms, innovative synthesis, surreal atmospherics, and driving basslines, this compilation takes the listener on a journey through the full spectrum of techno. The release will be available exclusively on Bandcamp and the Katayy Records website for the first few weeks, before becoming available on all major online platforms.

Turunga carries the dust of the Californian desert and swagger of a Tarantino fever dream. A cheeky, driving interpretation of progressive minimal techno, rich with sun-scorched grit and South American string motifs.

Riding alongside is Peter Groskreutz with a remix that draws out the original’s crooked charm, while leaning into its sly character with melodic tenancies. Groskreutz distills the epic cinematic feel and carries the EP into duskier terrain.

AKARI SYSTEM, also known as AKASYS, is a collaborative Techno project created by RINKADINK and AIRI. Based in Japan and producing together since 2020, RINKADINK is Werner van Jaarsveld, a producer and DJ born from South Africa. Having started DJing in his early teens, he moved to London in 2000. With his advanced technical skills and unique sound, he has released numerous tracks, performed as a headliner at many festivals and clubs and has been active in Psychedelic Trance for the past 20 years. AIRI is Felix Ando, born in Switzerland from a Swiss father and a Japanese mother. As a child he was educated as a violinist in Germany. He has been active as an electronic musician since 2004 and has played in many festivals with his enveloping sound that features a warm soundscape, thick bass, and smart composition. Please look forward to the PsyTech that they weave.

RINKADINKは南アフリカ、ケープタウン生まれのプロデューサー兼DJ、Werner Van Jaarsveld。幼少の頃よりダンスミュージックに熱い想いをよせ、１０代前半からDJ活動を開始。１９９９年にロンドンへ渡英し、本格的に音楽プロデュースを開始する。彼の持つ高度なテクニカルDJスキルと、特質ある唯一無二なサウンドで数々の楽曲をリリースし、世界的なビックフェスティバルやクラブで多数ヘッドライナーとして出演、過去２０年間ダンスシーンの最前線で活躍している。

AIRIはスイス人の父と日本人の母を持つスイス生まれ、Felix Ando。幼少よりドイツでオーケストラのバイオリニストとして音楽教育を受ける。２００４年よりエレクトロミュージシャンとして活動し、包み込むようなサウンドで数々のビックフェスティバルのフロアをロックしている。２０ヶ国以上のクラブ、フェスティバルに出演。暖かいサウンドスケープと分厚いベース、スマートな曲構成が特徴。
