Alexander Skancke is one of the new young talented faces from Norway who are making waves in Europe with his unique take on the deeper kind of electronic music.
Born 1991 in Trondheim, Norway, Alexander Skancke grew up to be a shy guy spending most of his time with music and technology. This brought him later on into studying sound­design and develop his own universe of sounds.

His debut EP was released on Jay Haze’s label: “Contexterrior” in 2013. A few months later following up with double 12” on the Frankfurt based label Neostrictly which topped the Juno best­selling charts.

Celebrating their 20th birthday a year ago this month in our very own Room Two space, Wiggle are among the longest running party crews around. Toting residents who are all regarded as pioneers of their generation, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles and Eddie Richards have all been key in formulating Wiggle's tough take on house music - a sound that is key to our own sonic foundations. While they crew are busy all year round hosting parties in various locations internationally this Saturday night is the first time we have have had them to our space in 2015 and along with their regular cast they're set to bring the Berlin based taste-maker and Scenario founder Sebo K. To give us insight into the sounds that are forming the backbone of his current club sets Sebo has served us up an exclusively recorded promo mix thats coloured with acid lines and tempered with warming synths and off kilter percussion highlighting exactly how this DJ has established himself as a unique force in the scene.

Born and brought up on the outskirts of Delhi in India, Akarsh found a home in Atlanta when he first got involved in the underground music scene there and he knew from the very beginning he was destined to be more than just a party-goer.

Akarsh has established himself as a mainstay in ATL's vibrant scene in a relatively short period of time whether it be making people move to his delectable dance floor selections (having shared the stage with industry stalwarts like Delano Smith, Traumer, Dyed Soundorom, Felipe Gordon, tINI, Dana Ruh, Liquid Earth, Chad Andrew, Be Svendsen, and more) or organizing unique party concepts under his Desires imprint with some of the most forward thinking and cutting edge artists from around the world.

Inspired by the community built around house music, Akarsh prides himself over his sheer range of selections across the many genres of dance music with a focus on groove forward productions as well as his boldness in taking risks.
