"Raga Mishra Pilu" - Shankar Tucker, clarinet

A Carnatic classical remix of Daft Punk's Get Lucky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NV6Rdv1a3I).  The raga is Karnaranjani (well, approximately).

Composition of tyAgaraja in the rAga naLinakAMti. Rendered on an E south Indian flute, with a lot of aberrations and mistakes. But I thought this was better than most of my attempts at playing this song, so I thought I should put it up.

The recording was low-pass filtered and reverb added, to mask imperfections in the recording setup and my flute playing.

Prelude in Bilahari is IndoSoul's take on the Indian classical song Paridana Meechite, originally composed by Patnam Subramaniya Iyer in the 19th century. This violin and piano duet performed by Karthick Iyer and Dondieu Divin brings together the rich tradition of Indian and Western classical music with the violin melody in Raga Bilahari interwoven with Bach inspired lines on the piano.

Prelude in Bilahari | IndoSoul by Karthick Iyer | Dondieu Divin

I'm interested in Carnatic (South Indian) and European classical music as a hobby. I try to play some carnatic music on the flute and electric guitar, and also am trying to play the piano (mostly classical pieces). I particularly like Chopin.
