Life of a sadist

Oculus is a term from Byzantine architecture which is an opening in a dome through which natural light enters. My instrumental piece that bears the caption OCULUS delves into the deep, dark recesses of the human psyche. This is followed by the realisation that  an intense  meditative stance can open up the third eye of enlightenment and throw light on the fact that truth is elusive. The composition that fuses eastern and western styles also reflects the changing moods of the seasons. The rain drop sounds symbolize the plenitude of nature while the high, plaintive notes are metaphors of the end of life. I dare say this piece is composed in a new genre that I choose to call poetic rock.

Bedouin was first featured on the label's 2015 Summer Sampler with ‚Flight Of Birds’ helping build their reputation as master music makers. 

Following on from this is their first full EP on All Day I Dream. 
Each track casts its own unique spell. One thing Rami and Tamer know is mood. Opening with 'Straight To The Heart' beauty and hypnotic vibes abound. Sounding as good pitched up as it does at it's patient pace, it's groove ignites the dance floor as well as the heart. 

‚The Way Home’ takes it's time to build textures and layers creating a more somber mood. 

The EP is close out with the vocals of Eric Volta on ‚Sight’, perfectly complimenting the overall mood of the release.
