Life After Awareness is the beginning of an inner search that finds its expression in a collection of ten soundtracks that produce very profound changes on the emotional states of each of us.
Field recordings and soothing frequencies form the backdrop for dreamlike symphony of strings, woody bass notes and plinking tones. In some tracks, the billowing ambience is free to drift like curls of smoke,
in others it is anchored by delicate pulses of percussion. Thanks to all the artists who contributed in this first edition.

Various  Artists - Life After Awareness [PV014]

Gilmer Galibard launches his own imprint Gilmer Galibard records. This project is a pure expression of his personal experiences and stories through music and visual art using each release as a timeline of his life. The concept of the label is also to explore boundaries of introspective musical experiences, taking sound design as a way to connect with his body and soul.

These tracks were written in a period of uncertainty and a big change in Gilmer, seeking powerful change in his life and his music. Inspired by Austin Osman Spare and his book "Book of Pleasure" Gilmer gave birth to Novaturient, to honour that important moment of his life.

Novaturient (Rainforest Spiritual Dub) is the first track of GIL01 and delivers over almost 7 minutes worth of deep harmonics and metallic textures, manifesting Gilmer’s own sound design. Even though the core ideology remains correlative, B-side’s Komorebi (Getaway To The Sun Mix) creates its own identity by venturing into a deep industrial techno with drops of light and hope accompanied by an organic percussion through the track.

Behold the pearl, a phenomenon singular in nature. An evolutionary eccentricity, a manifestation of inadvertent beauty. Effulgent objects fashioned by perfect mistake. Each a gemstone forged by the living: a consummate union of the biological and the geological.

This in mind, consider 'Yeoville,' the latest from artist Brendon Moeller. Listen to its radiant accords, or chords of radiance. Swirl, and unfurl, its amber waves of dub. Locate in echoes its memory — or yours. And then, so attuned, hear it: the breath of the machine. Iridescent. Organic. The process of transmutation, one thing becoming another. It is a blessing undisguised.

'Yeoville was recorded in my basement home studio between August and November of 2021. Ambient music has been a huge part of my life since around 1986 when I was listening to David Sylvian and Cocteau Twins. Releases by KLF, The Orb and Angelo Badalamenti would inspire me to dive even deeper. The inspiration for these tracks was a desire to create drones and rhythmic drones. There’s no greater feeling than getting all the machines droning, then kicking back in the studio and letting the ambience roll on for the rest of the day. As a devotee of nature, Atoloi explores sound creating a mellow amalgam of layers using over-reverberated synths, field recordings, and self-created samples.
Not choosing the club-oriented way as a first calling, instead, his productions and sets search for other depths, in which the listener can get lost while getting submerged by heavy-grained noises and evocative instrumental compositions.

Drawing inspiration from silence and inner research, Simone combines technology with nature, emotionality with logic, using sound as a tool to explore inner and outer space.

Second Mindscapes show aired today and I got the Mexico City based artist and selector Andreas as my first guest. He prepared a soothing blend of complex rhythmics with a deep and trippy approach. It truly fits perfectly into the second half of the show and I couldn’t be happier about it.

For the first 45min I wanted to showcase music from some fine Palestinian and Israeli artists and musicians in unity.
