Here is the 363rd chapter of the Deep Electronics serie. For a limited time the serie will be released every week till further notice. The serie brings you a diversity into the abyss of deep electronic music. This week Aritomi is making his debut here on the channel.

Bio:
Has started his musical activities as a FM radio DJ in the mid 90's, on a French local radio where he presented new Alternative Rock releases, at first, then gradually Techno and House tracks. The electronic music project Aritomi began when the radio had to close down in the late 90's. Initially, it was a simple experiment with sounds made on a very limited equipment. The style has evolved over the years, from House and Techno at the beginning, to a more minimal blend of Deep, Ambient and Dub Techno, but still quite melodic. Living in Japan since 2000, Aritomi has performed DJ sets at "Echo Chamber" events, Dub Techno parties organised by Tsubasa Arakawa, and released an EP on Zero Signal Records, Altone's label.

Deep Electronics # 363 - Aritomi

Through creating an archetype to serve as a deviation from genre defined techno, AKĀSHIC MACHINE churns up a relentless concoction of hypnotic textures infused with intention and vibratory medicine. The creation of this entity serves to open a portal into a distorted realm of frequency - an exuberant release of the past into the present, shedding emotion and shifting through tempo and resonance. Nurtured by a multiverse of creative cross-continental endeavors, KĀ creates a grid between Johannesburg, Berlin and New York City - moved deeply to experience sound and presence, drawing inspiration from the nature and philosophy of the dance floor and exploring how it can serve as an evanescent container for the collective conscious.

The Lyra 8 organismic system produces 8 vocal layers of emotion ascending upward, the first voice is used as a low frequency oscillator, and the remaining voices are tuned to the 7 Solfeggio Frequencies. This project serves as an intuitive vibratory introspection into the alchemical properties of noise.

Collage i made for the reopening of the Rotterdam World Museum in 2009. It was played in a loop on hidden speakers (on low volume) as people were walking through the expo. 

I sampled fieldrecordings and original African live music and soundscapes from Youtube from all the different cultures that were represented at the exposition. 

A lot of these African pieces of art have recently been returned to the rightful owners, which is good news of course.
