Jack Lazarus delivers a bouncy and melodic interpretation, adding new energy to the already impressive original. Meanwhile, Mike Kohl takes a deeper and more rhythmic approach with his signature progressive sound.

Together, they make the perfect package to extend the life of this remarkable track just a little longer.

UK based artist Northcat returns to Manual Music's progressive house imprint MNL with his long awaited solo debut release Questions.

A relatively new yet rapidly rising name in the progressive scene, Northcat first made his mark on the label earlier this year as one of the runners up in the Finishmoremusic remix contest for Drac Trac by Riigs and Paul Hazendonk, earning him his first official release on MNL. Since then he has continued to refine his sound across several respected underground labels.

The Questions release features two standout tracks, Questions and Downhill Racer, both offering uplifting peak time energy while maintaining a rich sense of depth and emotion that defines Northcat's signature style.

On their double A side release via Manual Music's 90watts imprint, the Savrun Brothers deliver a pair of tracks that travel hand in hand yet reside in complementary emotional spaces.

'Reminisce' opens the dancefloor with an organic house energy laced with subtle nods to acid house. Crisp, fluid basslines and squelchy licks peek through the rhythmic foundation, while ethereal, mystique tinged vocal snippets drift in and out, casting moments of nostalgic introspection. The track strikes a balance: it is rooted in groove yet curious in texture, inviting repeated listens and surprises in its details.

Flipping to 'Saxeus', the tone deepens. Here lies the more introspective half of the release, slower to unfold, richer in harmonic nuance, and suffused with an emotional weight that turns inward. Where 'Reminisce' reaches outward, 'Saxeus' converses with the self, leaving more space in its arrangement and allowing subtle shifts in mood to resonate.

Together, the two tracks embody the duality of a double A side: one for movement and light touch euphoria, the other for reflection and deeper sonic communion. It is a deft showcase of the Savrun Brothers' range within the organic house realm.

With Symbiosis: Remix EP 6, Callecat inches ever closer to completing their ambitious remix journey of the Symbiosis album. From the very start, the remix campaign was conceived as a full reimagining of every track: all 13 songs from the original LP are being given fresh life, one by one. And now, with the release of EP 6, a total of 12 out of the 13 album tracks have been remixed, bringing the project into the home stretch.

The EP opens with an atmospheric and emotive Eichenbaum remix of 'Embracing Nature', originally composed as the collaboration between Callecat and Gustin, casting new shades of texture and depth over the Balearic-inflected original. The second track, the Mashk remix of 'Journey of Species' (Callecat × Juliane Wolf), continues the journey, recasting the melodic elements in a new light while preserving the driving spirit of the original.

Released on Manual Music, Remix EP 6 is not just another installment; it's a milestone. As the series nears completion, each release feels like a chapter in a greater narrative. By the time the final (13th) remix drops, the full Symbiosis story will have been told in two parallel forms: original and reinterpreted. Stay tuned for the grand finale.

Emerging once again from the shadowy corners of the underground, Bass Therapy marks another timeless contribution from Resonant Robot, an early resident of the elusive Modern Nostalgia imprint. Since the label's inception, Resonant Robot has been a cornerstone of its sound, a fusion of deep house tradition and forward-thinking minimalism that resists both trends and timestamps.

Across four cuts, 'Talk To Me,' 'Bass Therapy,' 'Let The Funk Go,' and 'This Is For The Crew,' the EP channels the warm, hypnotic pulse of classic deep house while maintaining a restrained, modern sensibility. It's music that feels as much at home in the early-morning haze of a basement session as it does in a dimly lit after-hours loft. The grooves roll deep and subtle, driven by liquid basslines, crisp percussion, and that unmistakable sense of space and emotion that defines the Modern Nostalgia aesthetic.

Echoes of Terry Lee Brown Jr. run throughout, refined, groove-centered, and deeply atmospheric, but there are also shades of The Timewriter, Dub Taylor, Shur-I-Kan, and Jimpster in the EP's DNA. Like those artists, Resonant Robot crafts tracks that sit between movement and meditation: tactile, soulful, and endlessly playable.
