This song titled, "It's Time To Wake Up PNG" was written by a young girl from Jubilee Catholic School named BENHALYN TIGALI. Very talented young woman. AKay47 was asked to help chose the winner out of song entrants and produce and record the song. AKay47 chose to work with another talented young man from Salvation Army secondary named, BRIAN KEPI whose vocals feature on this track.
The song content is so relevant to PNG at the moment and this song has been released in time for the 37th PNG independence to motivate young people to make a stand and fight against corruption.

First idea I've gotten down for the new album which I really want to have that dance feel with live drumming bounced with electronic sounds. This one is a work in progress with vocals from Sunnydread (big shout out to Sunny). Might be adding more elements and ideas before it makes the album but this is a good start and I'm happy with it so far... enjoy, 1 luv AK.

Allen Kedea is a Producer and DJ in the Papua New Guinean music industry. He has worked with acts throughout his career, as well as composing for documentaries, national & international events and advertising campaigns for corporate companies.

Allen has held club residencies as a longstanding DJ since 2001 in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley (Monastery, Empire, Family, Birdee Num Num), Brisbane City (Hotel L.A, R-Bar, Embassy) and West End (Uber, Zomba). His recent club residencies in PNG include Lamana Goldclub, Club Illusion and more recently, PNG's superclub - Cosmopolitan. Allen has opened for International artists, Shaggy, Mario, Tevin Campbell and African sensation Mampi. Allen has also been support DJ for various touring artists in PNG. AKay47 has performed shows in Fiji, Australia, South Africa and Solomon Islands. He recently became the first Papua New Guinean DJ to perform in Asia, for the 'Water Festival' in Myanmar.

Allen was head judge on the national singing competition reality TV show Digicel Stars in 2010, ‘11 and ’12 - also producing the winners albums. He is currently a brand Ambassador for Digicel. In 2009/10 he toured with the National break dance competition ‘Urban Bounce’ .

AKay47 has collected PNG awards such as, Yumi FM 'Best Collaboration' 2011 for South Pacific Beauty and 2013 Yumi FM 'Best Collaboration' with Barefeet for the song 'PNG girls'.
Allen has worked in various capacities as engineer, producer, song writer and music director with many events and popular artists in PNG. In 2009 Allen was music director for the PNG National Games and in 2010, 2011 music director for the Miss South Pacific Pageant. 

Allen’s film and television credits include composing and arranging music for a number of advertising campaigns for Australian and PNG companies. He also produced music for documentaries. 

Allen has recorded and released 3 studio albums; Elevation Collaboration (2009), Brand Niu Day (2012) and more recently 'Papuan Black' (2015).
