Akbal Music, a label that started in the Riviera Maya launched in 2006 in Mexico and by now travelled around the globe and connected with amazing artists and musicians is celebraring this year it´s 15 years milestone and we are hyper happy for this achievement releasing a massive compilation divided in 3 parts perfect to keep the momentum of this historic celebration.

The first part of the album welcomes Serkan Eles with a mid tempo groover perfect to open things up driving the direction for then to follow up with Taleman that delivers a more hypnotic track with mysterious synths and trippy chords perfect to start a set.

Following up the EP Gadi Mitrani from Turkey has nice number filled with emotion and meditative piano chords, uplifting sounds and a great vibe and energy.

Niko Schwind and Robbie Akbal team up in Berlin last year during a few studio sessions collaborating with Ay Sarita to wrap a powerful organic anthem called ¨Caminando de Noche¨ filled with mystic elements and driving music .

It was a great tune featured in our 15 years of Akbal Music compilation, that we asked Noraj Cue and Landikhan , some amazing producers at the moment to remix the track.

Noraj Cue from Happy Campers and Tale & Tone delivers a fat groover with shinny melodic elements & epic journey on the breakdown playing nicely with the vocal and some quirky sounds finalizing a great arrangement.

Landikhan from Spain delivers a more mid tempo indie disco ish vibes oriented remix very groovy and full of great sounds that will make some magic all around.
Such a wonderful pair of remixes, we are more than excited to welcome this two hyper talented producers to the Akbal Music family.

This record is definitely for the summer, that’s what we thought when first listened, truely represents the fresh sound that is shaping our sunny days. Vibrant catchy vocals , funky guitars and proper funky bassline personality  its all that this record has: You Just Danced is just magic…with a more indie approach we are loving this record from start to finish.

The release comes with a solid remix by Russian producers Anturage & Alexey Union both super talented artists based in St. Petersburg , Anturage is a half of Fake Mood  and we love his music, their remix adds a lot of power to the release going into a more clubby direction with a solid drum arrangement , the track evolves and gets emotional toward the end perfect to close sets. PREMIERE: Vite - Love Me Too [Akbal Music]

Robbie Akbal is a Mexican organic house artist who recently launched his new record label, Midnight Riders. The label's new release features enchanting original music from Robbie Akbal alongside remixes by Alex Twin and Jim Rider. 

Midnight Riders is sister label to Robbie Akbal's long-established Akbal Music with the aim of creating an outlet for the more melodic side of his sound. 

One of North America's most respected underground artists, Robbie Akbal is known for his laidback grooves with soothing melodies and earthy percussion. He has travelled the world to DJ everywhere from Berlin to Tokyo, and is also a skilled producer that along with releasing music via his own record labels, has also featured on other prestigious imprints such as Sol Selectas and Crosstown Rebels. 

On remix duty, Alex Twin is an organic house artist from Dubai who is a driving force within the country's club scene where he DJs regularly. He is also a talented producer who has built up a back catalogue including music on labels such as Bar 25, Cosmic Awakenings and Pipe & Pochet. 

Also providing a remix, Jim Rider is a UK artist with close ties to Lee Burridge and his record labels All Day I Dream, TRYBESof and Tale & Tone. He has also released his majestic style via the likes of Kindisch and Akbal Music. 

"Phangan" is the solo original track on this release and it's a mesmerising piece of music that orientates around upbeat percussion and trippy synth pads, which lay the foundation for a stunning sitar performance by Sidartha Siliceo. The track's breakdown is cut by dramatic bursts of percussion as it builds suspense to when the kick drum reappears and the sitar lifts it to new levels of psychedelia. 

Alex Twin's remix of Phangan loops sections of the sitar and adds additional percussion to create a chunky groove that doesn't lose any of the original's trippy vibes while stepping the energy up a gear. 

Jim Rider's remix adds a melodic bassline and epic synths that give his version an expansive sound, which creates an uplifting vibe shrouded in an immersive atmosphere that's perfect for the dance floor.

Bayjazz was born on a warm afternoon in Koh Phangan, Thailand during an impromptu studio session by Robbie Akbal and Nicolas Brunet. That day Nico jammed in the piano delivering some jazzy vibes, afterwards Robbie competed the track with some cool synths and retro feel good sounds that came together to create a fresh groove that's perfect for the summer.

On remix duties we welcome Francesco Mami (Get Physical, Human by Default) delivering a solid tribal house meets deep house fusion that brings a more club-fee like to the original. It's filled with great percussion and a solid bassline groove that ties everything together into a fantastic tune.

For this reason this unique vocal track had to be remixed by Robbie´s favorites producers: Zakir and Fulltone delivering this fire remix package of magical sounds and emotional elements.

Fulltone remix appears as more dark emotional affair featuring space synth sounds always with beautiful music influence as always Fulltone does. We love his music, always quality deep edge vibes.

Zakir remix blown us aways the first time we listen, it has a powerful groove with stunning percussion, acidic bassline, trippy melodic arpeggios and vocal glitches that create a funny jammin story between the vocal and the groove. All around a great interpretation very different form the original.
