Akibrento is the pseudonym of Brent Freeman, an artist who blends genres from Electro House to Indie Pop-Rock to Trance Trap and everything in between. He writes his music to have a balanced mix of lyrically important songs where you need to pay attention to what’s being said as well as tracks like Mei Nu (Nowhere Girl), an upcoming track about a party-obsessed murderous imaginary friend where the beat is what you should be immersing yourself in. 

Recent singles by Akibrento have been for three upcoming projects. Autopilot and Carbocation are a taste of a laid back, retro album, while More (The Witch is Dead) / BAGGAGE BAGGAGE BABY! And Mei Nu (Nowhere Girl) are part of an Oontz Oontz club house project. Finally, AI CAN'T GENERATE ME , Fake Sleeping and STONE COLD GIRL (Colder than Lava) are part of a concept album of Robots replacing humans. All three tie in together and will be part of an extended series where the ideas are expanded upon further.

Akibrento would reference Lorde , Vansire , Kennie and 박혜진 Park Hye Jin as some of his biggest inspirations in music, but he considers his music to be a culmination of hundreds, if not thousands of artists as well as himself.
