No visual senses, just perceiving the intentionless sensation of naked oiled skin. This is my set that guided through the session at Zugvögel Festival in the Healing Dome.

In a place called Arkhangelsk, on the shore of the White Sea, a musician watches the water flow into the Arctic Ocean. The stars are much brighter, and more twinkly there than here, lighting up the sky in northwestern Russia. Lush forests, harsh climate and a seemingly endless Milky Way are the only – and constant – source of inspiration for our next Urban Cosmonaut Radio artist Donev.
His live set is a reflection of the world in which he lives in. You can hear the sound of vast lands in his intro as he looks far into space, onto water, upon trees. And you can feel his love for starry skies, and how he interprets them in his productions.
Donev produced this piece of music with a message in mind: to preserve the Earth we live in, and all its beauty and diversity, and to know that this is our unique journey. We wish you a peaceful dive, Urban Cosmonauts.

Bienvenido, Nico Bruschi. A passionate instrumentalist and expert in the fusion of folk heritage from traditional Latin-American sounds with rich, hypnotic electronic music.

The possibilities between this dialogue of music origins and styles are never-ending and mysticism seems to be the common ground, either reflected with chants, cumbia, jazzy and space grooves, jungle sounds and organic instrumentation, SidiRum’s craft guides us through a cinematic travel through regions of the world.

His debut EP "Le Soleil" was released in 2014 by the Chilean label “Regional” with great worldwide repercussion, being chosen among the best free albums of the year by mag Sounds and Colors (UK). In 2015 he released his second EP "Intercambio" through the London label “New Hispanic Music”, with excellent reviews. In late 2016 he released his third EP, "Luna", through the Dutch label Krooks Records, which Sounds and Colors awarded with five stars.

Recently, he’s appeared in Summer Sol II, a Sol Selectas compilation and released an EP in Frente Bolivarista with Barda.

Chalchiuhtlicue is the Aztec Goddess of running water and springs, rivers and lakes, who brings fertility to crops. Her name means "Woman of the Jade Skirt," or "Lady Precious Green Stone Skirt." She is depicted with water-lilies, dressed in watery blues and greens, and sometimes has quetzal-feathers in Her hair. She is the elder sister or consort to Tlaloc, the rain god.
 
Some of Her many manifestations include: Acuecueyotl, "Woman Who Makes the Waves Swell," the Ocean-Goddess, invoked by women giving birth; Ahuic, "To One Part and To the Other," or "To and From," Goddess of the waves on the shore; Apozanolotl, who represents purity, shown as the foam of the ocean or white-capped waves; Aticpac Calqui Cihuatl, "Woman Who Lives in the Sea;" Atlacamani "Sea Storm;" Atlacoya "Sad Waters;" Atlatona "She Who Shines in the Waters;" Ayopechcatl "She Who Dwells on the Back of the Tortoise", Goddess of Salt and daughter of Tlaloc, who was given human sacrifices at Her festival in June; and Xixiquipilihui "It Swells," who creates the waves on lakes.

Another spring has sprung and maybe also because it is much different than all the springs we sprang before, there's a sense of newness in the air.

Being nestled inside for so long, we ended up doing what we do best anyway: whipping up a nice warm release cake for our little sweet beaks out there.
Now that everyone has the time, kick back in your favourite sweatpants, enjoy a nice beverage and get sucked into a weird, cinematic dream created fully inside your ears, courtesy of our hombre from across the great blue puddle: jiony.

It must either be the Mexican sun, or they put something in his enchiladas as a child, but jiony's past years have been highly productive, to say the least. We've been eyeing (or earing?) him for quite a while now and it finally lead to his and our newest baby "Sí Y No".
Yes and No, an ambivalence that, in a way, reflects a state of mind that many of us know just too well in these times.

Here's to keeping up the spirits and delivering a little relief for your minds!
