akirainfinite, formerly known as UNCOOL, is a South African alternative hip-hop artist with a distinctive edge. From a young age, akirainfinite was immersed in the world of music, rapping along to 50 Cent and Eminem by just seven years old. Influenced by the eclectic sounds of Pharrell, N.E.R.D, Kanye West, Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino, and Nirvana, his musical style is a vibrant blend of dark, moody tones and bouncy, playful vibes.

akirainfinite’s sound, often compared to Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, and Navy Blue, features beat selections akin to The Alchemist and Monte Booker. His unique touch comes from his background in visual arts, which allows him to connect his music to cinematic visuals, drawing from art and film movements.

Starting out in his bedroom, he released his first mixtape in 2011, marking the beginning of a journey that spanned beat tapes, group collaborations, and EPs on SoundCloud. By 2022, he made his debut on all platforms with "Alga Rhythm," a project that cemented his status in the alternative hip-hop scene and expanded his fanbase.
