Drawing from his inspirations like never before, Urban Animal is Claude VonStroke’s most personal LP to date. Naturally this remix package has been curated with the same amount of passion and features some of the California birdman’s favourite producers.

Solomon, Eprom, Dixon, Jimmy Edgar, Photek, Kill Frenzy, Justin Jay, Doorly, Krust, Tanner Ross and SCNTST… It reads like the ultimate who’s who in creative electronic music. There's even a remake of "Can't Wait" by VonStroke himself.

Each remixer was hand picked as an innovator or trend setter of their genre. From personal inspirations such as Photek and Krust (two men who are responsible for getting the dirtybird bossman into production in the first place) to exciting young talents such as Justin Jay, SCNTST and Eprom via old friends and kindred spirits (Jimmy Edgar, Doorly, Solumon and Tanner Ross), the whole package is as personal, eclectic and as the original album itself. Bolstering the original message of the album with clarity and creativity, each one of these revisions demands your attention!

3 years ago Patrick & Frederic started their marvelous career as Kaiserdisco and made it to one of the most interesting acts in the global underground scene. They are not only a techno or minimal act, Kaiserdisco is fascinating people all over the world cause they are producing music from lazy deep house to groovy techno, always with the right sense for the dancefloor.  In the last years they remixed artists like Booka Shade, Kosheen, Extrawelt, Sebastien Légér, 2000 & One...., and had releases on legendary labels like Drumcode, 100% Pure, Strictly Rhythm, My Best Friend, Global Underground etc.. 
And now it is time to start their own imprint.
 
The first KD Music release “La Famillia EP” comes from Kaiserdisco  themselves. The A-side “La Benjamina” is a typical Kaiserdisco anthem. Strong beats, groovy bass and a hypnotizing melody.  You can feel it in every second of this track how much fun it was to produce this piece of music. Especially the big break will make you go mad!!

“Hija Major” on the B-side is a heavyweight techno layout. A massive rolling bassline catches you from the first second! The hole track reminds you of a fast rolling train packed full of wood. It rattles from first to last and when it falls into the breaks you can imagine it pushes the train even more and more and more.....

Justin Martin's ghetto garden has produced another hefty harvest: a second remix volume from his widely-acclaimed "Ghettos &amp; Gardens" with refixes of all shapes and sizes from some of Justin's favorite producers and best mates. Claude VonStroke takes the vocals of the title track and crafts them into an acid bomb of nuclear proportions, while Eats Everything's Ruff Stuff reruff is a big, Bristolian bully: properly bass-heavy. Leroy Peppers and Shadow Child both bring a 90s DnB vibe to the table; Pepper's remix of Don't Go is crispy and featherlight, while Shadow Child blasts Riding Spaceships through a galaxy of space beats, breaks, and builds. A double-stack of Gurner goodness: Tanner Ross strips the croonin' tune down to a lonely snap and a synth, while Willis Haltom and LOPAZZ choose to give it a warehouse party treatment with synth stabs, Roland rumbles, and a hefty acid attitude. To round out the release, Kill Frenzy adds some of his signature twerked-out bass to Butterflies while Pezzner delivers a thumping, tribal beast of a Molokini remix, replete with cavernous layers of percussion and singing sirens.
