Tatsuoki started his DJ career in 2011. He expresses his worldview through three-dimensional wavelengths that envelop the space and colors. His style has been evaluated, and he recently had some gigs all over the Japan, and in abroad, Germany and South Korea.
About Podcast, Tatsuoki released his dj mix from Outis Music Podcast in Italy on 2016, and also from "Oslated" at Korea, MONUMENT at Norway, and Acid Camp at Los Angeles.
Tatsuoki launched his own event "Broad" at Tokyo in 2012 and he kept an eye on trends for future and booked artists who are active from all over the world. So, it had grown into a techno party that represents the venue "Contact Tokyo".
In the spring of 2020, he moved to Fukuoka to learn about the new scene, and started a new activity on Kieth Flack, which is also an important local venue. He also continues to make his event "Broad" on there, and now he is booking techno artists from Japan and abroad every other month to make Fukuoka's current techno scene.

Archives, a new series presenting the sound of DJs and artists at Moment events, is proud bring you our 10th installment, featuring Kuba'97's set from the third day of this year's Moment.

This set masterfully blends classic and modern psychedelic sounds, gradually building up to transform the final day's afternoon into a very special time indeed. It helped create a beautiful finale for the festival, casting a spell over the dance floor. For those who joined us this year, we're delighted to let you dive into these sounds again! And for those hearing this for the first time, we hope that this recording will give you a glimpse at just how special this year's Moment was!

For the 13th installment of Archives, we're excited to bring you Chie Otomi’s transcendent opening set from this year’s Moment festival.
Chie Otomi has risen to become one of the most important artists in the Kansai ambient scene. Her releases and live performances are completely unique, guiding the listener through imaginary spaces that at once seem both natural and otherworldly, revealing glimpses of hidden ecosystems scattered throughout the cosmos – and her opening set this year was no exception. Time seems to stretch as Otomi patiently builds up layers of sonic detail that morph and evolve in a dreamlike flow unlike anything you have heard. So please sit back and allow yourself to be transported far and deep by a true master of the craft.

Mozhgan, who first came to Japan in 2017 for a club event by rural and rose to fame the following year with a closing set performed with her ally Solar, has delivered a mix for us. The set is based on the dark, acid techno that she is best known for, with classic tracks carefully woven in here and there. Please take a listen to this mysterious journey of sound by a DJ who represents the underground scene of San Francisco, USA.

2017年にruralのクラブイベントで初来日し、翌年には彼女の盟友であるSolarと共に披露したクロージングセットで名声を獲得したMozhganが、私たちのためにMixを届けてくれました。彼女が最も得意とするダークでアシッドなテクノを基調として、随所にはクラシックなトラックまでが丁寧に織り交ぜられた貫禄の感じさせるセットです。米国サンフランシスコの地下シーンを代表するDJが神秘的な音の旅へと誘います。

Kyomi's range is wide, from deep meditative to dynamic and energetic sets, inviting the audience into her unique sound approach.

In his own words: 

There are a bunch of nights in my career that will stay in my memory forever, and one of them is definitely the No Way Back (unannounced) experimental/ambient DJ set i was invited to play in the Outer Space room on the 27th of May 2018 when I came to Detroit to also play for Movement.

I had previously heard from plenty of people in the game that No Way Back was a very very special night and i was therefore full of expectations… well I can easily say that it went quite a bit beyond them… and I’ve been around in clubs and raves a lot as i’m (unfortunately) no spring chicken anymore...

No Way Back truly has an energy and a magic that is hard to describe unless you experience it… it has something that is viscerally rooted to Detroit and to what this city means for this music and this culture that we all love so much. There is a love and a commitment for this party coming both from the artists, the crowd and the organizers that is very unique, powerful and deep. 

I feel very lucky and honored to have had the chance to give my contribution as an artist to this special night and i’m therefore very pleased to share the recording of my set with you.
