Double Touch is a live electronic duo collaboration between Sydney/Los Angeles based Classical Pianist/Composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen. Despite their distinct individual careers, they blend their two worlds together to form a unique mix of acoustic melodies, percussion and electronic sounds. Ranging from ambient soundscapes to Organic/Latin/Afro House, Double Touch weave their musicianship, virtuosity and contagious energy into their live performances.

Double Touch are official All Day I Dream artists with multiple releases and performances at All Day I Dream events globally. Their shows are a unique blend of a traditional DJ set and live performance, adding live keys and drums, improvising and creating new directions in their music during their live sets. The synergy and connection between the two results in a unique experience for listeners and concert goers alike.

A little while ago I had the honour to open the night for Acid Pauli at Ampere in Antwerp. It's always such a delight to play there as the sound is top notch.

There’s something special about playing before the storm,
when the room is still half-asleep,
and every sound has room to bloom.

I watched the floor go from empty to breathing.
Grateful for those early footsteps and for the quiet nods,
for the way time seemed to dissolve for a while.

Akira Salehin, known professionally as Akira, is a DJ and producer hailing from Antwerp, Belgium. Born in 1987, he developed a passion for music at a young age, influenced by both classical and house genres. This early interest evolved into a dynamic career spanning over two decades, during which he has continually refined his unique sound. At 17, Akira began working at the USA Import Record store in Antwerp, immersing himself in the vinyl culture. His dedication led to a residency at the legendary Café d'Anvers, a pivotal venue in his early career. Over the years, Akira has performed internationally, with notable appearances in UK, Norway, Finland, The Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Thailand and events such as ADE, Tomorrowland and The Gardens of Babylon.
Akira's music is characterised by a seamless blend of electronic and organic elements, creating a storytelling journey that captivates listeners and keeps them moving. His commitment to crafting the perfect groove and flow continues to define his contributions to the electronic music scene. Underground house music in all its shapes and forms.
In 2021, Akira released his debut track "Close To Itajai" on Souksonic, a label curated by Lost Desert. He followed this with a remix of Matias Fittpaldi's "Alas" in 2022. A collaboration with Hermanez was released on the Mooizo label in 2024, reflecting his ongoing evolution as an artist. Akira is diligently working on new music in his home studio, with some very exciting releases planned for the near future.
