It tells the story of a father broken by heartbreak, depression, and drink — a slow decline witnessed by his family, who tried to save him. By the time he was ready to accept help, it was too late.

Woven with lines from a personal poem written for him, the song is both a eulogy and a confession — a heavy but beautiful reminder that love and grief are inseparable.

Akiva David fuses Baroque oratorio, 1970s disco, 1980s glam, hip-hop, and Philip Glass minimalism into a fever-dream of beats, choirs, and political satire.

Across movements like “Democracy Messiah,” “Institutional Utility Obsolescence,” “Taxes, Money & Bribes,” “Legal Illusions, Power Delusions,” and “Will the White House Ever Be the Same?” the album transforms the language of governance into melody, protest, and transcendence.
