In today's age, it's easy to fall into the trap of chasing fame, likes and followers in the hope it brings us some form of satisfaction and happiness. It doesn't matter how known we become, if we haven't come into the glance of the One, all of it is a waste. 

Becoming self aware of our feelings when we come to know that we have been slandered will help us to know if we are resisting God, or if we are allowing ourself to be in the glance of God and the nature of love and compassion. Being in the company of those that are virtuous can help us to experience those very virtues within ourself. Bhai Baljit Singh discusses how to practically deal with experiencing hurt and slandering whilst maintaining Godly qualities.

The Akhand Keertanee Jathaa (AKJ) is dedicated to the Sikh lifestyle. The Jathaa follows a strict discipline in keeping the Rehit of Guru Gobind Singh Jee. They also enjoy an active style of Keertan recited by Sikhs in a collective manner in front of Sree Guru Granth Sahib Jee. This style of Keertan is relatively simple, and the entire congregation devotionally participates in singing along.

Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee embodied this lifestyle of strict personal discipline. He wrote many articles on Gurbaanee and the Sikh Lifestyle which we hope will inspire you as they have many of us.
