Grace hosts a monthly radio show on 95bFM called ‘Soundbleed’, was formerly a facet of projects ‘lskse_’ and ‘Milk’, and in 2019 they co-established the biennial 3-day experimental music event ‘Outlier Festival’.

•••• Portability of ritual is the notion that allows worship and holiness to take place anywhere, expanding our idea of what exactly we mean by ‘space’ as both an experiential reality and cultural construct. Through a meditative sound piece and installation, ‘Portability of Ritual’ is an exploration of the dissonance of growing up in a multi-faith household, the movement of bodies, and attempt to find healing and connectivity amidst this •••• sound piece includes many Sheila Chandra edits, with my own voice and found sounds faintly in the background ••••••

Entering new territories of the physical realm, ANE returns with an EP and accompanying remix collection from @crosspolar

The Bristol-based artist harnesses the once hyperreal aesthetics of computer simulations from the 90s to early 00s in dreamlike odes to distorted cyberspace memories. This release comes as a limited edition of floppy disk packs containing two recycled disks, one of originals and one of variations.

An upbringing in Finland during the 90s serves as a catalyst for the inspirations for these sprawling, cinematic ambient tracks. Repurposed rompler instruments and high sheen sound design represent lost dreams of the future. Sugar sweet rave euphoria is met with icy desolation. Crosspolar plunders his childhood fascinations to create this not so uncanny valley: keygen music, click-to-discover online worlds, 90s television, and turn of the millennium tech. These tracks accelerate at blistering pace whilst always looking backwards.

akka / shareeka  is an experimental artist, radio producer and community facilitator interested in the sonic, written word and collective organising; guided by a framework of anti-racism, radical hope and reciprocity. creating under the pseudonym akka, she fuses voice memos, found-sounds, echoic compositions, and influences of her mixed-multifaith lineage. she uses soundscaping as a means to unhinge linear expectations of colonial form and knowledge - in the pursuit of divinity and connection.
