“Sunset“ and “Sunrise“ letting you feel the power of drums and kicks in a clean version. “Lost Soul“ is more melodic and decorated with soft synths. The shaker is breathless and it seems like THe WHite SHadow collected all pent up emotions in that song. We have “Last“ sounding really metallic and unique. A lot of elements fighting against each other to end up in a magic break.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. So the prolific Third Son (aka Joe Price) is back on Selador and not before time too! His second release for the label following last year’s widely acclaimed ’Darker Side Of The Moon’ EP consists of two original productions in ‘Trigonal’ and ‘Grey Matter’, both of which are big statements in their own right. 

The former is a syncopated slice of main room action, all growling synths and soaring arp dynamics whilst ‘Grey Matter’ manages to take the concept one step further still. Yet another peak time bullet. 

The release is then consolidated by outstanding contributions from both D-Nox & Beckers and Kris Davis on remix duties. The German duo return the favour (after Third Son’s work on their own recent Selador outing) with a typically assured melodic adventure. Kris meanwhile, dons his Techno trousers for a lesson in ultra cool electronic precision. Serious heads down business.

Our crew at the Upon.You Records offices is keeping the release schedule busy these days, constantly scanning the scene for new and upcoming talent and keen to pick an exquisite selection of club tracks for the labels catalogue. Therefore we're glad to announce the arrival of Innellea, a highly talented production team from Munich which has been leaving some marks on the scene with their 2016 singles on Musica Autonomica and Underyourskin Records.Lillith, the first track on this three track single, is on a quite groove tip, presenting a hot, stripped down take on TechHouse as a solid foundation for intricate melodic structures which are ever building up until a warm and welcoming vintage synth motif caters heaps of bass for bubbling crowds.With the title track Apate the Munich-based duo brings in more decent tropical heat for heaving dancefloors which are getting an extra thrill from ever background percussions with a slightly latin-influenced twist, a distinct, repetetive motif, a super dense athmosphere and a sexy as fuck lead organ catering the ultimate, hormone-driven swing to set every club on fire. Finally Imignie weighs in a slightly more futuristic flavour, combining super dry bassdrums and micro sweeps in its intro sequence, later accompanied by a overwhelmingly climactive bass drone and spiralling synths sharing space with mystic atmospheres, all together taking us and the ravers on the floor to new, unexplored realms of out consciousness.

Get inspired by a drifting version of Tim Engelhardt's "Trust" delivered by Nico Stojan. "Imagine" a wild and liberating summer with Markus Kavka's interpretation of Marc DePulse and put your dancing shoes on when Gabriel Ananda's remix of Betoko's "Foreverness" flows through the speakers.

„No Human Is Illegal" was the message Budakid has sent in 2016 and Mira & Chris Schwarzwalder keep on spreading this special and important word through a lovely and deep version of it. Marco Resmann asks: "Does Your Love Fade Away" with a darker and techy interpretation of the classic from Piek. Uplifting and right in time for the summer comes Eelke Kleijn's "Visions" with a dreamy and melodic attitude and some typical Amsterdam sounds. The original by Pysh was released in 2015 and still shakes the clubs.

Every Journey Creates A New Sound - Einmusika's trip continues and the label will manifest itself with many showcases and own festival stages till the end of 2019.
