Shovel Knight - Strike the Earth (Plains of Passage) REMIX

Quite possibly my most popular remix ever, this one is certainly a fan favorite. I was inspired to remix this theme after hearing another artist’s take on the material as a judge on OCR. It’s such an epic melody and progression that I just wanted to take it to the next level and go over-the-top with suspenseful pads, choir and strings, sound effects and a full orchestra (film score style.) With big beats and heavy guitars, of course. Even though I made this in 2007, I’m very proud of it! 

Super Mario World - Monstrous Turtles!

So, I heard of this game (Celeste) about 8 months ago. But took a while to actually listen to the soundtrack, so I could remix something.
Really enjoyed the soundtrack. Resurrections was (and is) my favorite, mostly because of the chord progression.
First track I remixed from the game was First Steps. I haven't really played the game at that point.
Then I decided to remix Resurrections. But took me 4 attempts to get something good. I was almost giving up, but when I got an idea on how I could remix it, I started as soon as I could.
After finishing the track, I was going to make the artwork. But I wanted to make something kinda related to the game and the track I remixed.
So, I finally bought the game and played it. I'm not a big fan of hard platform games, but the story and the characters were very relatable to me, enough to make it to my top 3 favorite games. After beating the game (which was hell cuz I succ), I decided to change a few more stuff on the track.
Anyway, I just wanna say it's a great game, and I really recommend it!
