Played a simple but chill 1hr set at the Spotify office in Stockholm. They had a little internal flea market event for the employees. Just played some tunes I've listened to on and off for the last couple of years.

Urban Escape - Chill mix @ The Spotify Office, Stockholm

I'm excited to share a mix of some of the best contemporary jazz releases from 2022, clocking in at just over 75 minutes. These tracks are mostly instrumentals and showcase the incredible musicianship of these talented artists. The mix features a mix of both familiar favorites of mine and new discoveries, with 95% of the tracks played in full and tastefully blended together with subtle fade-ins and outs. The tempos range from chill to jumpy throughout the mix, so it's probably not one to just sit back and zone out to. But it's perfect for an energizing Sunday afternoon. Enjoy!

Watch this space for an EP capturing these enchanting Soundbath voyages with strangers. I metamorphosed a 15m concrete chamber at Borderland with Jakob Hedlund, Nora Fager & Annika Winberg into a Secret Sounds Soundbath Silo.
I blended my 6-string bass guitar's deep resonance through the #hologram #microcosm and metal pipes and gongs' gentle whispers for a soul-soothing ambience. Seven distinct, intimate one-on-one performances. It was really fucking cool to sit across a single person and perform, especially for them.
Crafting chords and soundscapes on-the-fly, tailoring the journey, exploring metallic echoes within this hidden silo.

Mamihlapinatapai is a beautiful and complex word that encapsulates the intricacies of human emotions and communication. It highlights the importance of non-verbal cues and the power of a shared moment of understanding between two people.

Overall, Mamihlapinatapai is a reminder of the importance of empathy, communication, and the beauty of human connection.

Ambient mix I did for THF Radio at Tempelhofer Feld, a part of the Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. It was a full circle moment to play Ambient music in an abandoned airport waiting for a flight that would never come. 

Featuring my vinyl record collection with artists that you might not expect and might expect. Nala Sinephro, Jon Hopkins, Susumu Yokota, Floating Points, Akua Naru, Carlos Niño & Photay, Julianna Barkwick, Sigur Rós, Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Tim Hecker, Chelsea Wolfe & Russian Circles, Cloudkicker, Meshuggah (yes!) and some others.
