The combination has created a woozy, downtempo electro-pop and here, we treat you to the incredible Maya Jane Coles remix as she puts her unmistakeable, equally woozy, low slung house tinge on an already beautiful track. Gat Decor - Passion (Fake Forward Edit)

Michael Keane is the Bronx-born, New Jersey-based composer behind the Textbook Maneuver, Distance Major, and SCITK aliases. A classically trained pianist with a punk DIY heart, Keane blends cerebral sound design with cinematic storytelling, drawing from a wide palette of influences that stretch from Genesis (Duke era), Rush, and Gary Numan to The Postal Service, U.N.K.L.E., and Phantogram. Under the SCITK moniker, these songs are his brain imagining a late night underground club, with pulsing bass, interesting drum patterns, and warped out synths. As with all his projects to date, the music thrives on improvisation and sonic experimentation, refusing easy classification while remaining deeply accessible. 

SCITK shared: “I am really just trying to throw all of my self-imposed rules out the window and have fun with this EP. I am far from a dance club attendee but I do have massive respect for the experimental side of that music.” Get on board now with this talented emerging new artist!
