"For some months I've been recording a weekly deejay session just for myself to get to know the new-new and new-old records I bought the last 2 years.
What you hear is a one hour cut out of a session inspired by a fun afternoon playing records at my friend James place, who is recently re-discovering his own massive late 90's/ early 2000 west coast house / (uk) tech house collection. Cody Hammer is a DJ originally from the metro Detroit area. He cut his teeth attending the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, now called Movement, and various Detroit area parties in the mid-2000s. In college, he did a quick stint at Alter Ego Management under Cornelius Harris at the Submerge building in Detroit. After college, he moved around a bit for work (He is a clinical research professional by day). Although, he kept DJing and buying records. In Seattle, he started a party with his good friend, Jeremy Beledeiko, called No Nonsense. They brought world renowned heavy hitters like Arapu, Barac, Herodot, Lamache, Oshana, and Ryan Crosson introducing many in Seattle to the modern minimal scene. He also briefly hosted a monthly radio show called Eclectech on Orphan. Record’s now defunct pirate radio. Furthermore, he hosted a monthly day party called Dogs on Walks at PRŪF café. Since then, he has moved away from Seattle and currently resides back in the metro Detroit area of Michigan.

Mark.x is an amazing producer/DJ who always had a passion for music from a young age. However, it wasn't until 2016, when he discovered his country's peculiarly remarkable minimal house scene that he fell in love with and embarked into becoming an electronic music artist. With over more than 20 releases on his Bandcamp, Mark has collaborated with artists and labels such as Octave, Moldovan, sHotzi, Cozu, Mtps, Resonance Music, Inunct Music, Utro, Raw Russian, Urban MIDI Records, Carpathian Sounds, FqTrax, Fonic Lab and more... He shows no signs of stopping, but keep wanting to go beyond the limits avoiding being pigeon-holed into one style. Instead he identifies himself as an eclectic artist whose inherent nature is to explore and adopt different styles that mark him.
