Our seventh Podcast is provided by Disruption, a DJ and Producer duo from the south of Germany. The two friends got together early 2020 and have actively been producing tracks with a lot of character. 

Their distinct sound is shaped by their driving basslines and groovy drums, influenced by intense and energetic techno sounds from the 2000s. In addition to their productions, Disruption utilises their experiences to its fullest regard when it comes to sound cultivation, something you certainly do not want to miss out on!

Fran LF is a Sicilian DJ / Producer based in Amsterdam who prides himself in dealing old school, groove centric techno.
Distilling influences from the 90s and early 2000s which draw upon the sounds recognisable from hip hop and ghetto techno, Fran LF’s passion for the craft of DJing is evident. His track selection operates alongside a 3-4 deck mixing format, woven together with a particularly recognisable mixing style which combines fast and choppy cuts with playful backspins.
With the recent emergence of his event collective Vibrant and a debut label release with none other than ghetto tech legend Robert Armani’s Traxman Records, Amsterdam has yet another talented artist emerging from the underground.

Nakamo's hypnotic sound effortlessly navigates the realms of driving techno, melodic textures, and nostalgic grooves, all while infusing them with a glitchy, futuristic twist.

Nakamo started on her DJ journey in the North London party scene, crafting podcasts during the lockdown for techno collectives based in London.

Since then, this emerging talent has quickly made a strong name for herself, with performances at well-respected venues in the capital, including FOLD, Fabric, Corsica Studios as well as making her European debut at the prestigious Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen last year.

In 2020, Nakamo immersed herself in production and recently released her debut collaborative EP with Ctrltraxx on Leisure World.

Fernweh Series: Nakamo [025]

As the daughter of a famed Turkish Rock & Roll drummer, Elvin was born with rhythm and groove running through her veins. She moved to Madrid in 2013 and found inspiration in the vibrant Spanish electronic music scene, feeling increasingly drawn to the soundscape forged by her favorite artists. Since then, she carefully studied the club institution in preparation for her leap to the opposite side of the decks.

Her dynamic presence, infectious energy, and unwavering commitment to her craft were quickly picked up by various clubs and collectives in her city, leading her to grace some of the most respected clubs in Madrid, including Mondo Disko, The Bassment, Crow Techno Club, Studio 76, and Sala Muv, where she captivated audiences with her electrifying sets and undeniable talent for blending her Turkish musical heritage with the Spanish electronic music culture. She holds a residency with the dynamic FLINTA collective Fernweh, working to reclaim queer spaces and create a community which embraces diversity and promotes inclusivity through the faster, groovier edges of dance music.
