The song title "de glace" in French, referring to the "coldness of a person", is an ode to the "cold" climate of the soviet region from where this post-punk music space first appeared in the 1970s. True to Akudama's style of techno, this track is driving, high energy and dark with a thick bassline that takes you on a journey to the beautiful abyss of post-punk techno.

The original song title “de glace” in French, meaning “of ice” or “cold-hearted”, has been replaced by the word “холод”, a word with the same meaning in Russian/Ukrainian - a tribute to the “cold” climate of the soviet region where this post-punk music scene emerged in the 1970s.

'Helium : Resleeved’ as part of Akudama’s Resleeved project, is a spacey Breakbeat track that takes you on a cosmic journey to the dark and groovy beyond, showcasing a new side of Akudama’s versatility. 

The new song title ‘He2’ is inspired by the original ‘Helium’, being the second-most abundant element in the cosmos, accounting for about 25 percent of the atoms in the universe. 

‘He2’ specifically is a molecule consisting of two helium atoms - the helium dimer. The bond holding this dimer together is so weak, it will break if the molecule rotates or vibrates too much - just as we are ‘breaking loose’ when the speakers' sound waves hit our bodies.
