In this Ep, I have tried to learn music theory and scales from different Countries and cultures. After learning and absorbing the various timbers and tonalites of their music I have made this EP in combination with my musical philosophy and style to create The  Trance Dance Experience !

I'm very grateful to have made a track in collaboration with Fransisco (Multidimensional live) called tHE hUNT were he showed me the uniqueness and Color of a Brazilian scale. I hope you enjoy this EP as much as I enjoyed Making it.

In esoteric doctrine, the Echoes of a Passenger represent the subtle traces that a traveling soul leaves behind in its passage through the earthly plane, they are not mere memories or material vestiges but timeless vibrations that imprint themselves on the invisible fabric of reality. Every thought, word and act of the traveler resonates like a note in the cosmic symphony capable of influencing future generations or reactivating dormant ancient memories.

The Passenger, understood as a consciousness in transit, becomes an unnoticed messenger: its echoes can manifest as sudden intuitions, prophetic dreams or coincidences that seem guided by invisible hands according to Hermetic tradition, these messages do not travel in a straight line but in spirals of time, finding the people and places where their resonance is necessary.

In this context, the Echoes are both a warning and a blessing: calls to awaken fragments of a dialogue between the soul and the universe, understanding them means learning to read the whispers of destiny, recognizing that life is not just a journey… but a series of sacred marks that the Passenger leaves for those who know how to listen.

TormentO’s new album unfolds as a cinematic journey of searching, lamentation, strength, and, above all, the peace of being with oneself. The Divine Intervention takes shape as a journey through self-knowledge, acceptance, and the closing of one cycle so that another may begin.

The album represents a path of self-discovery, as if one were travelling through the spectrum of life and experiencing each moment fully: the lessons, the struggles, the sadness, the victories, and the loves.

Each track tells a small, abstract story drawn from TormentO’s life, carrying with it profound emotional weight.

The album begins with tracks that will guide you into trance and dance, and as the story unfolds, the narrative becomes increasingly confusing, tense, and abstract. Description:
After recording "Granie Demo3 - Lyra Dreams The Halloween Edition" (Ref. [1]), I had to have a wind down session just jamming out, or was it going more hyper -- you be the judge.

Tracks 1, 2, 3 and 4 were recorded DAWless on the Granie, feeding it the Soma Lyra 8. Granie is my granular synthesiser Ref. [2].

Track 1 used a definite tuning library, whereas for tracks 2, 3 and 4, it was all modified and improvised. The tuning is listed below, negative frequencies meant play backwards, these were the grain play-back frequencies, which may differ to the human perceived frequency.

The tuning was determined one grain bank at a time, all by ear, ensuring each new bank's ith note worked well with the next bank's ith note.

For track 5, I was curious what the tuning of track 1 would sound like with a fixed discrete tuning instrument, so took the raw track 1 tuning and put it into Ableton Live, an exact replica of tuning but with no granular synthesis human perceived tuning corrections. Some selective octave reduction was also used, this tuning is shown below:

I used a bell instrument, ok, this is weird, the tuning, not the instrument, but it worked, 8 notes for each of the Granie banks, strung together into 32 notes and just stuck with only using those 32 notes. I realised I needed a timing track, so picked a drum set and set the Push2 midi controller into 1/16th repeat note mode and improvised some drums into a 21 bar section. Improvised on the Bells track into 18 bars. Put the percussion and bells into looped playback and improvised on the Lyra 8 -- one take, improvised tuning oh ya.

This was all done in the session view of Live, then bounced into the arrangement view ready to play back and do the mastering by putting in volume swells for interest.
