The first single, lostfound, from leland, the forthcoming debut LP by Francis Harris is available now on limited edition vinyl from NYC label Scissor and Thread. leland is a highly personal work for Harris who composed the album as a requiem for his father, for whom it is titled. This first peek at the project features the album version of lostfound, a contemplative, atmospheric pop song cast in a deep house framework. Norwegian singer Gry turns in an outstanding vocal performance that cuts straight to the emotional core of the material while subtle improvisational trumpet accents by Greg Paulus of No Regular Play propel the narrative.

Pon De Panda - New Ways Forward

The Berlin-based producer Niko Schwind who is known through his releases on Oliver Koletzki’s Stil vor Talent imprint created three originals tailor-made for Heimlich Musik. Combining rhythms with a focus on psychedelic synth lines and complex drum patterns. 
The title track „Modularity Theorem“ is characterized by field recordings and hypnotizing percussions and subtle vocals used wisely to underline the atmosphere of the track.
Xique-Xique strips the original down to its basic elements that are needed to create a powerful remix for various occasions.
„Tote Bienen“ appears like a lonesome rider in danger pictured by crooked guitar riffs, harmonica accents and dark synths supported by downpitched vocals. 
Cologne-based duo Ameli Paul comes up with its very own interpretation of „Tote Bienen“. The remix appears rather as a melancholic live-interpretation with additional vocals and building up breaks creating a mood perfectly fitting for early morning hours. 
„Varinha“ is built on organic drums and a soulful vocal while strings and powerful synth accents support the deepness of the track functioning as a suitable ending for the sixth release by Heimlich Musik.

Right in time for Luises third Birthday, Munichs incarnation of volt and watt, namely Guenther Lause, comes along with a very special present. The Wakema EP is a three-track-voyage from the outer spaces of universe back to the very inner circuits of conscience. Starting with Ruka (A), an antsy techno piece, Guenther seduces to enter his spaceship. Soon after, hiding between space and time, Loose Your (B1) invites to take a bummel on planet Ephraim located far outside where human awareness turns into a flock of silver bambis. Finally, slowing-down Wakema (B2) brings us ashore cheerfully. 

The digital release comes up with additional and well constructed extra fuel from astroman Andre Wakko.

For our 3rd release, we present a single EP produced by Jiony, with soothing vocals from Ana Karen, coming from the heart of the contemporary downtempo scene in Mexico.

Co-founder of Mexico City based electronic music label VAA, Jiony marinates his own live looping and improvisation on his best friends - keyboards, with a therapeutical voice, Ana Karen. After their collaboration on VAA back in 2016, the duo shows how perfectly Ana’s voice and Jiony’s slow synth game blends.

First remix comes from Pigmalião, touching back to his Brazilian roots with the percussions after launching his new label I Lost My Poncho, closing the curtain with his dreamy synths. Quixosis finds Pigmaliao’s lost poncho and creates a hypnotic texture with twisting the vocals and Jungel brings us back again to the sea side with his guitar.
