Leading us into the third century of sunset grooves mix tapes we have our friend and music lover Oscar Mederos. We crossed paths a number of years ago enjoying each other's music critiques and comments on music we loved and shared. 

Originally from Cuba and now based in Miami, you can be sure that he can point you in the right direction for any underground event that involves seriously good music. A true passionate, which can be heard whenever he is behind the decks. As a resident DJ at the "Do not sit on the furniture" nights or taking part in All Day I Dream events, he is without doubt an artist who will lead you on a unique musical experience. 

Therefore it is with a huge pleasure to be able to share this wonderful chill set he has put for us. Something light to go with this unusually rainy and cloudy summer we are experiencing in certain parts of the world.

Kenneth Bager & Findlay Brown present Silence Was Singing, a wholesome electronic mélange of disco, funk and soul, full of warm synth riffs and uplifting vocal hooks.

The collaboration between the Danish producer Kenneth Bager and the British singer-songwriter Findlay Brown began with the single track ‘Stones And Steel’ back in 2020. The partnership quickly escalated into a full-length project, bringing to fruition a shared penchant for lush, colorful sounds and big, memorable vocal hooks.
 
Now the duo is ready to present the album. The sound of Silence Was Singing is simultaneously retro and forward looking, sitting somewhere between the grand, uplifting Balearic chuggers of Bager’s native genres and the slick, soulful electro-pop of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memory.
 
The album comprises eight tracks, all produced by Kenneth Bager with a little help from Anders Ponsaing who also graces Bager’s label Music For Dreams in the duo Subnesia. Brown provides vocals on all tracks and is accompanied by cult singer Anna Domino on ‘Don’t Look Back (Eurydice)’.
 
The album will be released on Bager’s label Music For Dreams on January 31st 2025.
