Hraach - Secrets Of The Moon

“Spazju” is a two-track atmospheric minimal dub techno exploration that moves between 120 and 126 BPM. Across both pieces, the focus is on rich layering and carefully crafted sound design, bringing forward textures that feel both organic and otherworldly. The project leans into a dark, hypnotic mood, slowly pulling the listener into a spacious, immersive environment where subtle details and shifting rhythms reveal themselves over time.

Another year, and another birthday has come for Steyoyoke. This year marks our 5th Anniversary, and as such we would like to present our 5th Anniversary compilation, filled with unique remixes and new faces on the Steyoyoke map.

2017 sees the Anniversary 05 released both digital and physical, for this occasion split exclusively into a double vinyl abounding of groove-laden standouts. Switchdance, one of the resident DJ's at Lisbon's notorious Lux Frágil, is undeniably one of Portugal’s finest and most adventurous DJ’s and producers, renowned for his highly eclectic and profoundly hypnotic sets. Taking his love of psychedelic arpeggios, gothic melodies and dusty drum machine-driven percussive moments from across a broad spectrum of influences which he then distills and restructures into a unique sound elegantly displayed in his productions showcased on labels such as Beachcoma and Areal.

“The Black Tape” is his first release in 2017 and features 6 tracks which have been in development for the past few years. From mysterious opener “Bass Of Ace” with it’s ridiculously catchy lead arpeggio and hip shaking percussion, to the frankly beautiful introspective melodies of the titular track, the middle eastern gothic dance floor jams that are “Kala Bhairava” and “Limbo Walker”, and the Jon Carpenter influenced “After Dark” and “Father Nature” rounding out the EP and ensuring that there is something here for any fan of forward thinking electronic music.

Sag & Tre is proud to present the first volume of the "Freshly Picked" compilations featuring a range of hand-selected music to kick off the New Year, 2019.

Featuring scene stalwarts signed to labels/collectives such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Rebellion der Traumer, Dream Culture, Where The Heart Is + more, the compilation is set to turn heads, and stay in your record box for a while. The compilation also features a couple of newcomers, who compliment the entire piece offering something new, instead of deducting from the experience.

Elias Dore is the next announced artist for this compilation. Originally from Berlin, Elias explored many facets of music, but what has over time stayed with him is his love for melodic warmth and organic sounds. Elias has been trusted to provide warmup support for Rampue, Nico Stojan, Mira, Nicola Cruz, Holger Hecler and many more. While he regularly plays in Berlin’s well known clubs such as Sisyphos or Katerblau, he recently picked up some producing boots and made this beautifully unique composition called “Ayasa”.

This is one of the many Sag & Tre fruits off the compilation, all to be revealed before December 25th, when the compilation is up for pre-order. 

Artists like Powel, Jean Caillou and Ramiro Rossotti have already been announced to appear on the compilation. “Freshly Picked Vol. 1” will release on all digital stores and streaming services on Friday, January 4, 2019.
