Marathon are Moritz von Oswald & Ralf Hertwig. Their track Movin' with vocals supplied by Andrew Caine was released on EG Records (CAT3 - EGOX 53) in 1990 but, I doubt it would have had the huge impact without the help of the Youth and Thrash's "Trans Luna Injection Burn Mix".
An incredibly underrated classic old school track that deserves much more respect than it gets.

Marathon - Movin' (DJ Nipper Edit)

My main genre of music is house and sub genres deep, organic and balearic. I grew up in south london going out to acid house parties 🙂 in the late eighties and early 90s that got me into DJing playing vinyl at underground parties, bars/clubs and on radio. I made the progresssion from playing to producing tracks, and remixing others with a few bootlegs! I stopped producing due to ill health, but after a break of 12 years in 2024 i am now working with KEY CHANGES where i am writing new tracks my latest being "Moonbug" my next one is "Phantom" which i will post towards the end of August. I still dj and have a radio show on upfrontdance.com every fri 12-2pm and also post mixes on mixcloud from time to time (link under this bio). I am hoping to keep producing now as being on the keychanges programme has improved my mental health and all my tracks will appear on here and other platforms when finished! (see links below)
