Al Cantar is an independent singer, songwriter, producer and head of VIN Records. He's appeared in television a few times and has a brief appearance on a Lady Gaga in-store signing video on her official channel that has been viewed over 4.5 million views. He is the world's first and only openly gay man to have fronted a Psychobilly band in 2007. A short clip of "Freak"performed  live garnered 3.5k views in less than 24 hours. He's the only artist to mention a rollercoaster manufacturer (RMC) in 'Bali Beach' in homage to his love of rollercoasters. His two largest tattoos were custom designed and are extremely rare. He has been performing for over 20 years. He is 31 years old. His make up artist is Meg Leguzbe, a make up artist that has a unique style. His guitarist Mike Riot is the only person that has ever performed alongside him as a solo artist. Along with Sandy Casillas, they are the founders of VIN Records.
