"Whispers of the East" is a composition that blends tradition and modernity into a captivating sonic story, designed to transport you through diverse cultural landscapes and profound emotions.

The melody begins with the evocative sound of a Romanian caval, wistfully singing with authentic melancholy, accompanied by the mysterious tones of a bagpipe, all supported by rich African percussion, generated by tribal drums and tabla (an Indian pair of drums). This deep introduction sets the stage for a musical experience where the ancestral meets the contemporary.

As the piece progresses, the music becomes more introspective and contemplative, reflecting a soul filled with suffering and pain. This "dark mood" is not accidental; it speaks of inner struggles, of the pain and melancholy that sometimes weave through our lives. It is a mix inspired by the original mix on my way to the beach.Every year when summer's calling  i do a so called "summer" mix, for the distance between residence and my favourite beach.On my way to the beach 2 is not as chilled as the first one ,it's more up tempo and i thought to share the good feelings while recording it with you

This is a an Armenian folk tune called 'Hovern Elan'. Traditionally it is played on duduk. In this arrangement I play it on a four valves quartertone trumpet.
