A guitarist/singer/songwriter from Sydney, Al’s influences range from funk guitarists Nile Rodgers and John Frusciante, to rockers Nine Inch Nails and The Tea Party, to the fingerpicking styles of Leo Kottke and Jose Gonzalez. From a classical guitar background, Al’s music is driven by solid guitar progressions and characterized by her heavy rhythmic style and frequent use of alternative tunings. She regularly performs around Sydney and her second home in Manila, Philippines and is looking to record an album in 2017.
