"With his latest release, Roots 'N Future's head honcho DJ Madd is adding to his futuristic dub repertoire with a varied - but brilliant - EP. The 'R&F Unlimited' release consists of a number of styles that each contain familiar hints of blended roots music... 

"The sub-loaded EP opener 'Dub Foundation' pushes heavy 808-esque basslines into a dubby soundfield, a tune that contains numerous percussive hits that spread the foundations of dub to a subatomic level. The twisted riddim 'Blaze Fiyah' spits heat after a confident vocal strikes the exact same words, followed by a repetitive stroke of low end and a true drum-led extravaganza. The melody spirals down the strings of familiar realms, acknowledging Madd's pioneering look on beat crafting. 

"'Every Little Thing' is a dubwise roller that leads you right into a cultured jungle drenched in the colours green, yellow and red. It also has a footwork-esque feel that adds that little extra flavour to the release. DJ Madd advances by delivering a cut that fuses half-time movement with a fully packed percussive repertoire, all streamlined with mystical synths and finishing touches that allude to perfection. 'Choose' is a slowed down but delay-ridden production - characterised by a gargantuan magnitude; invaded by multiple effect-times, organic elements and a ground shifting low-end that add to its almost notorious status. 

"A dancehall vibe rules the supporting structure of 'Pushap', a tune that contains a solid vocal that commands your attention. It makes way for an adventurous ride into old school DnB/ jungle.
