Politics Of Dancing now re-issue it with a fine selection of new remixes. The original still sounds future with its silky synths and metallic drums, and the bassline really is killer. Silverlining steps up with a 90's house version that is all slick electronic funk. Sweely then speeds it up further, allowing the original vocal to really tug at the heart strings. Fast establishing himself as a DJ and producer on the ascendency, and with the support of tastemaker DJs such as Jamie Jones, Enzo Siragusa, and Apollonia, Rossi’s productions have been bending ears and moving feet for some time now, and his debut for META does not disappoint.

Title track, ‘Nova’, pairs low slung bass and a hypnotizing groove with dreamy synth refrains and chopped vocals, for a classy and sophisticated deep cut, whilst ‘Solao’ cuts its cloth with funky bass slaps and swinging beats, keeping the mood bouncy and breezy.

Hotly tipped UK duo Calum Percival and Jerome Withers join Hottrax with a sleek house release entitled ‘Kp It Tgthr’. 

Receiving early support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Detlef, Nathan Borato and Michael Bibi, the fast- rising pair started turning heads with their expertly crafted dancefloor edits of classics, such as their viral take on Madison Avenue’s ‘Don’t Call Me Baby’. Having sensed their potential Jamie Jones has now invited them to release on Hottrax, following a milestone year dropping music from East End Dubs, Cuartero, Monki, and Max Chapman. 

‘Kp It Tgthr’ opens with tight hi-hats, clean basslines, flirtatious brass stabs and pulsing chords until ‘Sip n Dip’ drives forward with rhythmic claps, distant vocals and swinging percussion. ‘Nerve’ closes with soft pads, bumping sub patterns and saturated voice clips providing a noir sound floor feel.
