In Buddhist mythology and Hindu mythology, a kinnara is a paradigmatic lover, a celestial musician, half-human and half-horse (India). In South-east Asia, two of the most beloved mythological characters are the benevolent half-human, half-bird creatures known as the Kinnara and Kinnari, which are believed to come from the Himalayas and often watch over the well-being of humans in times of trouble or danger. Their character is clarified in the Adi parva of the Mahabharata, where they say:

We are everlasting lover and beloved. We never separate. We are eternally husband and wife; never do we become mother and father. No offspring is seen in our lap. We are lover and beloved ever-embracing. In between us we do not permit any third creature demanding affection. Our life is a life of perpetual pleasure.

In Southeast Asian mythology, Kinnaris, the female counterpart of Kinnaras, are depicted as half-bird, half-woman creatures. One of the many creatures that inhabit the mythical Himavanta. Kinnaris have the head, torso, and arms of a woman and the wings, tail and feet of a swan. She is renowned for her dance, song and poetry, and is a traditional symbol of feminine beauty, grace and accomplishment.

Spiral was written with Lifeforms in the course of 3 months. During the process of writing the track, We've used some cool vintage synthesizers to create it; From the legendary "Roland SH-101", to a "Moog The Rogue", Among other sweet little bundles on analog joy.
The track really came together after we found an interview with Raja Ram (The ultimate psychedelic legend) on Youtube. The sample brought light, depth and the last final piece to complete the track.

The 10th edition of Sangoma Records will be performed by Japanese label DJ BUZZ. It is also a kind of ‘On the Way to Ozora’ edition ’cause this year BUZZ will play w/ label runner Till DAKSINAMURTI on the Main Stage.

DJ BuzZ is a Psychedelic Trance DJ and organizer from Kobe, Japan. Since 2006 Eiichi is establishing his “God Of Death” events in the Kansai area especially around Osaka and Kobe. He has collaborated with other promoters, such as Yabai and Matsuri and introduced fresh and established artists from around the world to the vivid Japanese crowd.
BuzZ played all over Japan and China and his passionate energy shined through his banging sets that caught the attention of Sangoma Records. In 2015 he released his first compilation “Tanuki Tandava” on Sangoma and had his first Europe tour with sets in Germany and at the Psy-Fi Festival in the Netherlands.

Eiichi’s DJ sets are best around midnight — the time when the energy needs to maintain its intensity but still stay vigilant with the flow of the crowd in the underground scene of Osaka. Picking the right track for the right moment is his métier.

We at Sangoma Records guarantee that this artist from the land of the rising sun will blow you away. Watch out for his mainfloor set together with label-manager Daksinamurti at Ozora Festival 2016.

Here we are with the Furthur Progressions Records showcase for the first time on radiOzora w/ label runer HAMISH.

Hamish started DJ’ing at 19 while at University. His first events became the calling-card for those in search of good atmosphere, decor and amazing music. Since then he moved to London and continued to work on events, responsible for bringing artists such as Ace Ventura, Freq, Klopfgeister, Kasey Taylor, Flowjob and Liquid Soul to the capital. He also attracted the attention of Shane Gobi and Alchemy Records, becoming a label DJ in 2006. With the influence on warm, strong, psychedelic and groovy music, ranging from techno to progressive to full-on, Hamish always goes on a musical wander when behind the decks. His love of progressive led to the forming of Furthur Progressions r e c o r d s and a n end u r ing DJ partnership with Mark Bedouin. Now, with two compilations under his belt as a DJ and a calendar of label releases and gigs, all Hamish can think is – busy is great, music is fantastic and the dancefloors are happening! HAMISH Furthur Progressions Furthur Progressions Records is a UK-based music label project evolved from events thrown in Leeds and London (UK) by the Furthur Project team, which brought them in to contact with some of the leading labels and artists in the early noughties.
