Hearing the vocals from Around The World play over the music for Television Rules The Nation is such a delightful surprise and we wanted to recreate that in a way that would work in our sets. My good homie and one of the few artists I love to collaborate with, Danny Goliger, and I were jamming last year with no plans, just excited to finally be able to get back in the stu together. I showed Danny “What A Life” as I was inspired by experiencing my first Ibiza sunset with John. I’ve been really into making bootlegs recently as you can tell and so when I showed Danny the track, he really felt it had a super gorgeous pop vocal. Next thing you know, we were on the fast track to turning the original into a cheeky speed garage banger. We wanted to share this track as a free download as it’s been ripping up the dance floor during our sets! Which btw - Dj’s, this track vibes at 126 bpm too (it’s at 136) - that’s what I think is beautiful about the genre speed garage, one of the best, perhaps more tech-house flips into sped up garage 🤭 anyway☔️✨
