Today’s Delayed premiere comes from quite a few of our favorite people and it’s a joy to see their names together on a release. On Board Music label head, Laura BCR is debuting her wonderfully deep and nuanced sounds with SoHaSo. Her taste is impeccable, and it’s no surprise to see this release come to light under the Dutch label. Between her Rinse.fm radio show, compiling tracks for ‘The Meaning Of Time’ series, releasing DJ mixes, and production, it’s amazing to see the quality and attention to detail that never wavers.

5 Elements is the third of the five-track ‘Initial’ EP and a collaboration with the Buenos Aires-based Forest On Stasys. Signature off-kilter drums throughout the track provide a stark natural contrast to the wide-ranging synths and pads that give off a sense of foreboding, a calm before the storm to come.

The Tale:
Once every month two enjoyed the moon and the stars.
Not normal was this night, something strange was going on there in the moonlight.
Almost fascinated by the protective darkness of the night and cold strengthening light of the moon, they began to dance.
Rhythms never seen before. Dance styles never seen before. 
More and more joined them.  Soon everyone was celebrating the lunar transitions that only happen once a month.

We are happy to conclude 2021 with our last premiere of the year courtesy of Chilean producer and co-founder of Dosis Records, John Plaza. Releasing on the Wales-based NFEREE label, the eight-track ambient techno album 'Altostrados' is full of groovy atmospherics and cinematic synth lines. 

‘Eckig’ takes on an immersive odyssey to the low starry sky, creating a dynamic of hypnotic austerity. The underlying warmth of its spacey, dreamy pads and acid-sparkled blips shadowing a trippy-charged percussion, give the way to a lively-spirited emotion to shine through its minimalistic rhythmic skeleton. 

'Altostrados' is out on January 7, 2022

PREMIERE: John Plaza - Eckig [N.F.E.R.E.E]

The Munich-based IO Records welcomes back one of its co-founders Lukas Weinlein aka MTRL and his eight-track "Disrupt" EP. The EP features four originals and four remixes by long-time friends of the label,  Epsilon, Kaf, Delusional Circuits, and fellow IO co-founder Dycide.
"Javelin," our premiere for today, is all about the groove. The track executes the 'less is more' approach flawlessly. A rolling percussive sequence is the main driver of "Javelin." Accompanied by thumping kick and shaker, it creates a proper 'dancefloor pacer,' which will come in handy to many DJs during the late nights.
Disrupt EP is coming out on February 10th via IO Records

The four-track long EP Flavours Awakening comes with two remixes of Flavours Awakening and Sensing Algorithm by https://soundcloud.com/concrete-gold and Doltz.

The Lyon-based producer Sanjib touches upon atmospheric heights and elevated consciousness with his deep techno productions, including on this new record. The EP takes off with the floaty title track Flavours Awakening, which feels like a melancholic dub-heavy journey, followed by the trippy and just as touching Sensing Algorithm. Both productions clearly have an emotional undertone in which Sanjib once again focuses on establishing a universe dedicated to travel and introspection.

On our premiere pick, Concrete Gold, one of the minds behind Crescent London, showcases a slower take on Flavours Awakening, transforming the emotional track into a hypnotic adaptation while not letting go of the emotional inquiry.

Excited to release a new album via Bandcamp in this occasion. For a long time I had in mind to put together some tracks I made in the years but it was quite difficult to find the time and the concentration to do it, but this period finally gave me the chance to realize it. The playlist is formed with tracks created starting from the "Prologue period" in 2012 arriving until few weeks ago in 2020 and the orientation of the album is quite drone and atmospheric. Hope some of you who follow my music since the beginning of social media era will like this work and hopefully, also the ones who approached my music in the last period. Italian DJ

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been attracting his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of genres melted together in the classic, hypnotic and repetitive way of Techno music.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his own sound.
After releasing music on reputable labels over the years, Alan is now releasing music mainly on his own, having already released three well received albums on Bandcamp.
