On le découvrait grâce à l’excellent album VR Plan que publiait Prologue mi 2013. Cette année fut d’ailleurs un tremplin pour ce producteur italien avec notamment 4 Eps dont 2 sont sortis sur le label suisse Motoguzzi. Un univers fascinant que l’on découvre encore avec ce podcast d’une heure, sorte de peinture abstraite (une heure déstabilisante) aux multiples reliefs (rythmes chamaniques). Avant de rentrer à l’aveugle dans un weekend s’annonçant festif, on se relâche pour se faire finalement masser par cette musique astronautique (pression atmosphérique – 100 hPa). Alan Backdrop.

Straight from Northern Italy, Alessio Meneghello or better known for his moniker Alan Backdrop, has been attracting his listeners through his productions characterized with deep atmospheres and a mixture of genres melted together in the classic, hypnotic and repetitive way of Techno music.
He is the kind of producer that certainly enjoys his studio jam sessions—this is the reason why he spends most of the time in his studio tweaking knobs on synthesizers, recording and experimenting with the aim to capture and create his own sound.
After releasing music on reputable labels over the years, Alan is now releasing music mainly on his own, having already released three well received albums on Bandcamp.
