As the sun starts to appear on a regular basis, the gloomy Uk flood winter season seems a distant memory! The brighter evenings motivate me to come out of hibernation, dust down the decks and put together my first mix of 2014! A mixture of, Funky, Piano, Deep House. This mix merges some of the huge tracks in clubland and anthems of WMC Miami with some fantastic underground tracks. 
Oh the Smell of festival grass and the planning of a trip to the White Isle Awaits!

CLASSIC HOUSEWORK REWORKED VOL 1 Mixed By Alan Burton

So following my Vol 1 mix I had some great messages and feedback regarding that mix! So here is volume 2.  The  CONCEPT of this mix series is classic house, re worked, bootlegged, re-dited and remixed! BUT not the ORIGINAL!  Some of these tracks have been reworked by some very talented and up and coming producers along with some household names! So this is the  perfect soundtrack for the BANK HOLIDAY 2018 EASTER WEEKEND! CLASSIC HOUSEWORK REWORKED VOL 2 Mixed By Alan Burton

So this time last week we were all arriving at Butlins Bognor Regis for the IBIZA LEGEND'S weekend . I can picture it now, very clearly -  everyone in there jumpers, jackets & coats, holding there bags and luggage, dancing in MAMBO'S as they arrived. and boy were we blown away! This was the first time myself and my friends had attended. From 4pm Friday till I crawled back in to my apartment at 5am on the Monday morning it was relentless partying with some of the best Dj's, music and people! Outside of Mambo's and the club nights we were treated to the insane BINGO BANGO  and the brilliant Symphonic Orchestra! It was an amazing weekend! For anyone who knows me I have started a little concept mix of CLASSIC TTRACKS - house reworked! IE: I have put together mixes of classic tunes, however not in there in original format – but bootlegs, Remixes, Re-edits, mash ups  etc etc JUST NOT THE ORIGINAL!  There was so many great tunes over the weekend, but some stood out more than others either because they were played at the Bingo (Darude for example) or the Symphonic Orchestra (Angie Brown take a bow) or by our favourite DJ's. ( there was a few apartments I walked by as well with music pumping out - people clapping and cheering,  and one the tunes in this mix reminds me of that moment as well) I have watched all your fantastic videos and a lot of the tunes that I heard on them contributed to this mix! So I felt compelled to do a mix that captured the music that I heard at the weekend and mix them together with new versions in my mix concept! For me this mix captures the soundtrack to the amazing weekend – I'm sure some of you will agree these tunes bring back some great memories, but I'm sure there will be some people or Dj's out there who will tell me I missed this tune and that tune as it was played by so and so! Be great to here if there were any classics I missed out? If one person posts and says they enjoy this mix and it takes them back to last weekend I will be a very happy man and it would of made this mix worth while!

IBIZA LEGENDS BUTLINS BOGNOR REGIS 2019 TRIBUTE HOUSEWORK REWORKED Mixed By Alan Burton

Alan Burton is an Essex DJ, Promoter, Producer and Record Label owner from Essex. He has been djing for over twenty five years. Alan is an Original 1988 acid house raver and a self confessed Vinyl junkie. He even gave up his secure job in 2000 to sell vinyl for five years before the musical digital age took over!  He has played at iconic London venues in his time such as Turnmills and the Fridge and his very own London Thames Boat Parties which have been running for over fifteen years. Alan has mainly dj'd in East Anglia and played at the legendary Oscars Pier all nighters back in the day in his home town of Clacton.  After a twelve year break from Djing Alan has been back behind the decks and embraced the Facebook Streaming Internet radio station culture with regular Live shows.  As well as Djing and promoting he runs his Inspirado Record labels concentrating on Deep Tech house and Funky house. To date the labels have had over a Hundred releases! In 2021 Alan will oversee a new club night, a second run of his beach parties and a joint hosting of the the VIP tent at the Properfest festival.  Alan's sound is Acid house, Tech house, Minimal deep house and melodic techno, however he always loves to play a classic set! Alan has co-produced releases in the past five years but 2020 has seen him breakout and produce solo with several releases and remixes under his belt.  Alan Now has a Weekly residency Friday  12am till 2am on London's newest pioneering dance music radio station UNITY DAB - this is an exciting new challenge and alan will be pushing new producers and labels and push the acid house , tech house and melodic house sound genre!
