Ableton 11 Suite comes with Spitfire Audio's Upright Piano. Included with the piano are a bunch of midi clips - I picked out a four bar ostinato clip and the track is built around that - the actual midi clip comes in at around 58 seconds...

...now that I listen back to it -the bass/drum feel on this seems heavily influenced by "My Life in The Bush of Ghosts", by David Byrne and Brian Eno ...one of my favourite albums. Did it without realising at the time but seems obvious now.

Just got Ableton Live 11 (yesterday)- trying out some of the new features - notably MPE control is so much easier now - my Roli Block keyboard connected right in. Also trying note probability, velocity range, and some of the new sound packs and effects - love the new hybrid reverb in particular

I'm using a variety of mobile and desktop apps to make the stuff here. I'm a big fan of the low-cost and free versions of Caustic, I also love Korg Gadget on the iPad - when I get serious it's Ableton Live... Have a bunch of real guitars and keyboard stuff but mostly use virtual stuff because I have to really be motivated to start messing about with all those wires.....
