Al is an accomplished vocalist with 20 years’ cross platform experience. 

With his vocal technique and delivery skills he is able to run alongside any vocalist to enhance his or her, live or studio performances. Accredited in advanced vocal technique, working from his dedicated Vocal Recording Studio in Umhlanga, Al guides and tutors various musicians and aspiring vocalists. 

Al is experienced in Vocal Production,  in the studio, working closely with producers and artists. “Every singer has their own unique sound, it’s my job to keep the artists vocal identity and make them shine in their individual projects.“ 

Al also has Post Audio Engineering facilities, where he undertakes final mix for film, radio and many TV programs that are broadcast on terrestrial and satellite TV networks. In addition to post audio, Al's production company, Drew Music Productions, offers radio production services for the advertising sector enabling marketing staff to execute a project from concept to completion at a single facility.

Al compliments his vocal production and studio work with his busy live performance calendar, he is constantly in demand for corporate, private, public events and live theatre productions around South Africa.
