Rusty has been making music with family and friends since he was a young boy. The blues of the Mississippi Delta is the first music he can remember pickin’ on his guitar. Taking the stage with Alan Lewis and his guitar accompaniment, Chad and Alan graduated from campfires and local parties to performing for live audiences around Athens in the late 90's... to include DT's Down Under.

In 2004, Chad and Alan recorded their first collaborative album, “Green,” 

Since journeying forth from Athens into the great unknown, Chad's musical career has taken him around the world, playing bluegrass and rock with friends on stages across the country. 

With his travels often keeping him from home on the holidays, Chad collaboratively recorded and produced a Christmas album, “Happy Holidays,” alongside some great friends and talented musicians... namely, Rusty Lindsey, Woody Longstroke, Raffy Morse, TJ Flint, Nathan Jensrud, and Daniel Bell.   .

"Happy Holidays" is re-released for friends and family each year as a Christmas tradition.
